These days changing IT support company is much easier than you
might think. However, to make sure the process always goes to plan,
we’ve developed our own 5 simple steps to make sure switching is
completed worry-free, without disruption to your day or the
availability of your systems.

Step 1: Ensure your contact with us is
now your trusted adviser
Changing your IT support company is a client focused process,
personally managed by partners Roy and Alex. They understand that
you may have been with the existing company for some time – maybe
they we’re doing a good job and you just outgrew their knowledge
and expertise. Or, maybe they were making you pull your hair out
with frustration! No matter how you feel, we will ensure that we
manage the transition in a professional and thoughtful way.
Step 2: Make Communication a
Priority
Typically, we will open the channel of communication between your
previous IT support provider, you and our team here at Prosyn. Our
goal is to keep communication going, to make the transition as
smooth as possible. And, importantly, getting your IT working for you
in the way you want it to work.
3. Step 3: Avoid Potential Pitfalls
As part of the changeover process, we will inform you of all
developments. Should we uncover any potential issues, we will raise
them with you immediately.
This could include:
Accounts in dispute, which need to be resolved- If there are any
invoices in dispute, or outstanding balances, we can act as
mediators between both parties.
Gaps in vital IT information- We will try and retrieve info such as
login details, network maps and backups
Safeguarding your business data- You must request that all your
business data being held by your outgoing IT company to be
destroyed and change passwords to block unauthorised access
Step 4: Working With Other 3rd Party
IT Providers
As part of the changeover, we aim to be your IT department. So, we
can be your sole point of contact for anything IT related. For example,
we can deal with your internet provider or hosted email provider,
informing them that we are now looking after you and can deal with
any issues from here forward.
Step 5: And Relax
All we will need, to start looking after your systems, is the passwords
to access your servers and telephone systems. Then our engineers,
such as Daniel and Yusuf, can get to work monitoring your network
and keeping your IT in shape.
