2. SOAP Services:
• SOAP Services are commonly used as a mechanism to
integrate applications internally as well as between
applications on the Cloud
• Some of the Cloud applications such as Salesforce provide
access to data using Login Operation.
• ETL Validator supports SOAP Services as a data source with
Login Operation.

3. Pre-Requisites:
• Have the WSDL file handy on your local machine

• Enter data source
name and select
WSDL.
• Click on Test button.
• It shows the inline
message as "Valid
WSDL" if selected
wsdl file is valid.
• Save the connection
details.
• Move to next screen.

Select authentication type:
• Login Operation
Provide parameters in the
"$[parameter]" format for
- Session ID Parameter
- Password Parameter
Drag the logon operation
from left pane to the Login

• Under logon result node,
double click on the Session
ID.
• It populates the values in the
Session ID XPATH and Session
ID Value boxes as shown.

• Create Component Test Case
• To compare the data extracted by Web Service Test Plan with another source/target such
as flat files, tables etc.
