4. STORY OF THE FALL
Genesis 3:1-5: The serpent approached Eve and said, âDid God really
say: you must not eat from any tree in the garden?â Notice the
serpent saying this in a cunning way which drew Eve to a
conversation.
The woman replies, âwe may eat the fruit of the trees in the garden,
but not the fruit of the tree that is in the middle of the garden. God
said: You must not eat, and you must not touch it or you will die.â
The serpent said to the woman, âYou will not die, but God knows the
day you eat it your eyes will be opened and you will be like gods,
knowing good and evil.â

7. The Attack on Woman
⢠We desire to be romanced
⢠We desire to play an
irreplaceable role in a
shared adventure.
⢠We desire to unveil our
beauty
LIES WE HAVE BELIEVED
⢠You are not worth pursuing;
You are not worth fighting
for.
⢠You are not needed. You
have nothing offer
⢠You are not beautiful. You
do not have what it takes to
inspire me.
WOMANâS DESIRE
8. What we have become?
Our response has usually been one of two
things.
1.Dominating woman â to prove these lies are untrue
by hiding or denying our heartâs desires.
2.Desolate woman â to affirm these lies by clinging to
people, relationships, or situations hoping they will
fulfill our desires.
9. PIERCED HEARTS
Lies we have believed Dominant Womanâs
Response
Desolate Womanâs
Response
You are not worth
pursuing, not worth
fighting for
Prove myself worthy of
affirmation and
admiration or show I
have no need of being
romanced or of intimate
relationships.
Cling to people who will
prove that I am worth
pursuing, so that I will
not be abandoned.
You are not needed. You
have nothing to offer.
I am indispensable or I
donât need anyone.
Relationships prove my
worth so I will do all I
can to keep them.
You are not beautiful;
you donât have what it
takes to inspire me.
See my beauty or I
donât need to be
beautiful.
I am not beautiful at all
or I can attract others
through excessive
makeup, revealing
clothes.
10. Negating Godâs Design
GODâS DESIGN
⢠MYSTERY TO BE
REVEALED
⢠RELATIONSHIP TO BE
PURSUED
⢠BEAUTY TO BE
UNVEILED
NEGATIVE / OPPOSITE
⢠A mystery to be exposed or to
be kept hidden.
⢠A relationship to be used or
be denied.
⢠A beauty to be exploited or to
be veiled
11. CONCLUSION
We need to be aware of the lies that PIERCED OUR
HEARTS because they will surely affect the way we
respond to the relationships that we are currently
blessed with and in the future relationships that we
will be blessed with.
We also need to see how these lies may have affected the way
we see God and how we relate with Him. More than anything,
our relationship with God is something that we must secure.
