The parables that follow show the essential qualities of leader such
as ability to hear what is left unspoken,humanity,commintment,the
value of looking at reality from many vantage points, the ability to
create an organization that draws unique strengths of every
number. Following parables provide the occasion for reflecting on

3. 1.The Sound of the Forest
3rd century A.D., the king Ts’ao sent his son, Prince
Tai to the temple to study under the great master Pan Ku. The
master sent him alone to the Ming-Li Forest and told him to
return after 1 year, have to describe about the sound of the
forest. He came back after 1 year and told him about the
general sounds of the forest but the Master was disappointed.
He sent him back. After several days he came back and said
“when I listened most closely, I could hear the unheard”.
