The Singapore Night Festival is an annual arts festival held in Singapore celebrating heritage, arts, food, and culture. It features performances and installations by local and international artists held in the arts and heritage precincts of Bras Basah, Bugis, Bencoolen, and the Philatelic and Peranakan Museums. Some highlights over the years include performances by Studio Festi from Italy (2008), Pan.Optikum from Germany (2009), Compagnie Off from France (2010), Mimoid II from France (2011), and Starlight Alchemy, a Singaporean flow arts collective (2015).

an overseas arts
performance troupe
performing in the night,
hanging in the mid air and a
part of the road in Singapore
closed up for the people to
watch them perform.

With 6 giant satellite dishes
springing from the urban
ground, placed in front of
National Museum of
Singapore.

9. PARABOLES 2.0 –
SINGAPORE NIGHT
FESTIVAL 2010
6 satellite dishes were called into
action, communicating with the
stars, planets and outer space,
transmitting and downloading
signals, transmissions and
cosmic data. While different
sounds and signals could be
heard for each satellite
transmission and communication,
stroboscopic light flashes were
seen on each satellite dish,
depicting patterns, signals, ideas
and thoughts.
