QVCODE is a proposed solution for creating smart documents using a unique numeric identifier and textual descriptor for each student encoded in a QR code printed on the document. The QR code can be scanned using a phone camera or webcam to instantly verify the document information through a mobile or web application without needing specialized equipment. The process involves affixing the QR code, profiling the student information, and allowing third party verification. The proposed smart paper is resistant to damage and can be printed on ordinary printing machines. The full package provided would include the paper, profiling software, and support for universities to integrate the solution.
