1. Mr. Pradeep Ravi is a Director and Head of Application Development & Innovation for the Electronics
Industry in IBM’s Global Business Services division with over $225 million P & L responsibility.
Through strategic change initiatives, delivery & operational excellence, and business transformation
through outsourcing, Mr Ravi has established himself as a leader in delivering information technology
solutions to Fortune 500 businesses. Mr Ravi brings in over two decades of information services
experience from multiple industries. He has previously managed some of IBM’s largest and complex
AMS outsourcing engagements by working directly with CXOs and business leaders to transform IT
into a strategic business advantage.
Recent IBM assignments includes
- With over 2400 + electronics industry practitioners, Mr Ravi is responsible for customer
satisfaction and P&L for a portfolio of 35+ clients in the United States.
- Sector operational leader on an international assignment to IBM in India from 2007 – 2010.
- Delivery project executive & Transformational leader for Telecomm, Health Care, and Aero
space industries.
- Short term tenure in China, Brazil and Philippines to set up offshore delivery centers.
Mr Ravi joined IBM’s strategic outsourcing division in 1995 as a subject matter expert in workflow
automation and process re-engineering. His personal areas of expertise include management consulting
and business transformation through outsourcing. He has managed global teams in over 8 countries and
held leadership positions in manufacturing and chemical industry. Considered a subject matter expert in
outsourcing and globally integrated enterprise Ravi has been invited to address CXOs in many global IT
seminars. In 1998 Mr Ravi was named as one of “Who is who“of professional management.
Prior to joining IBM Mr Ravi worked as a computer aided design engineer for Ignifluid- Babcock
Enterprise where he designed fluidized bed power boilers. He was also involved in setting up quality
management systems and processes automation.
Mr Ravi holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a MBA from Widener University. He
resides in Boulder, Colorado with his wife and two children.
