The treatment sheet outlines the costume, props, style, and makeup for a music video. For costume, the lead male will wear skinny jeans and a shirt of his choice. Props include pieces of paper for love notes and a suicide note, a pen, and a lighter to burn the notes. The style will be dark and depressed, shown through minimal lighting, dim firelight scenes, and words written on the male's arms. No makeup is required other than a pen to write on the male's arms.

Costume:
I shall not have a set costume for the actors; the only thing I would request is
whoever plays the lead male to wear whatever he wears throughout the whole
video. I shall request the male wear skinny jeans if possible with a shirt of their
choice as skinny jeans are more often than not associated with this genre of
music, as is long hair and possibly band t-shirts.
Props:
The props that I shall require for my video will be pieces of paper so that I can
have the love note that will ultimately be burned at the end to show the break-up
between the two characters. The paper shall also be used for the male characters
suicide note. I shall need a pen to write these notes as well. The other main prop
that I shall need will be a lighter. I will need this in order to burn the pieces I
would like to be burned due to the nature of the video. Obviously, due to this I
shall have to be careful and take Health And Safety in order to make sure no-one
gets seriously injured or severely burned or even a minor injury/minor burn.
Style:
The style for my video shall be quite a dark, depressed style. This should be quite
easy to achieve as long as the actors show a depressed mood/do not look very
happy or smiley with an exception of the scenes I require them to, such as
smiling at the fire or smiling at the end to symbolize the new found happiness
now he (the male lead) has left his abusive girlfriend. Another way I shall try to
show the dark, depressive style is by minimal lighting, such as the scene where I
wish to include the fire. The lighting will be very dim as it shall hopefully be shot
in the dark with only the fire being the main source of light on the beach. The
only shots that shall have light are the shots that will be within the house due to
these scenes being shot during the day. Another way in which the video to my
song of choice mat be seen as dark or depressive may be down to the fact I’ll
have the dark words written on the male leads arms, such as “ABUSED”,
“DEPRESSED” and “WORTHLESS”. Hopefully, this idea shall create the thoughts
that an abusive relationship shall bring along.
Make Up:
I shall not require any make up for my characters. I shall only require a pen to
write the horrid thoughts and feelings of the male lead onto his arms.
