WHAT IS A PRONOUN?
A pronoun is a word that is used in place
of a noun to avoid repetition. It helps to
refer to a person, thing, or idea without
using their specific name or description.

1. This: Used to refer to a singular noun that is near in space or time.
• Example: "This book is interesting."
2. These: Used to refer to plural nouns that are near in space or time.

3. That: Used to refer to a singular noun that is farther away in space or time.
• Example: "That house is beautiful."

3. What: Used to inquire about things, actions, or concepts.
• Example: "What is your favorite movie?"
