SUMMARY
Hard-working, honest,and efficient are monikers that best describe me personally while working. This was manifested in my
leading, training, and coaching officers for eleven years in differing settings that afforded opportunities to elicit decisions,
thoughts,and problem-solving from those Iled. This allowed me to advise,encourage orcorrect depending on the conversation

I work in the Loss Prevention department being responsiblefor the safety of the guests. I have multipleinteractions
between guests and other Broadmoor departments. I also ampartof, and interactwith, a diverseworkforce providing5
star and 5 diamond to its guests.
Manitou and Pike’s Peak Railway 8/2017-10/2017
I work as an engineer for the railway.My daily tasksareto inspectthe trains thatI will runningfor the day to ensure they
are prepared for the trip.I drivethe trains on the mountain, takingpassengers up and down Pike’s Peak. I also answer
questions about the trip and interact with the passengers on every trip. Seasonal
Colorado Architecture Millwork Supply 6/16/2016-current
I worked in the shipping department and was responsible for the cleaning, inspection, packaging, and shipping of custom-
made millwork products.This included collecting, handling, sorting and shipping multiple job site items within the same
delivery truck as well as overseas shipping.I had to inventory and assist prioritizing jobs to be shipped to customers.
2. Mountain West Porter and Janitorial 5/2016-current
As a porter, I was responsible for the tear down and set-ups of rooms and buildings for the church and the groups that met
there. I was also responsible for light janitorial duties.
City of Xenia, Police Division
Patrol Sergeant • Xenia, Ohio 7/01/2003 – 5/12/2014
As Sergeant, I was responsible for managing and leading a shift of officers in their daily activities. I assisted officers with calls
for service, gave direction on unusualcalls or crisis events,and handled complaints on the officers. I was also the Community
Policing and Crime Prevention Sergeant and had multiple dealings with the public, businesses,and organizations in and around
Xenia.
Awarded the Leadership Award for the Police Division on two separate occasions.
Awarded the Community Policing Award for the Police Division.
Developed Neighborhood Watch Programs and Business Security Programs on behalf of the Police Division.
Responsible for the continued training of the officers on my shift and with officers as a whole based on instructor
certifications.
Selected as a committee member multiple times. For reviewing bids and interviews for insurance carriers for the City.
For the selection and implementation of new scheduling and payroll software. Evaluating and presenting Police Division
space requirements and needs for the Chief of Police. Addressing physical fitness requirements for the Police Division
personnel by developing physical fitness challenges officers could partake in and receive recognition.
Produced and implemented a dignitary protection plan for Ohio Representative Jarrod Martin.
Patrol Officer • Xenia, Ohio 3/24/1994 – 7/1/2003
As an Officer, I was tasked with handling calls for service, enforcing the laws of the State of Ohio and the City of Xenia, City
Ordinances, and performing traffic enforcement. I spoke with elementary schoolkids and performed SWA T demonstrations
at the Xenia Police Division’s open houses. I functioned as a Field Training Officer, an Evidence Technician, a Bike Patrol
Officer, A SWAT officer and a Domestic Violence Officer through my years as an officer.
Received the Distinguished Service Award and was twice awarded the Meritorious Service Award for my actions while
on duty.
Tasked with becoming a Field Training Officer in order to impart the mission, culture, and job functions to new officers.
Negotiated a three-year employment contract with the City of Xenia on behalf of the officers.
Coordinated and led an open house at the Xenia Police Division during a critical taxation vote that was going to effect the
Xenia Police Division.
