epending on the event they
are attending, there are sev-
eral ways they may present
and wear such decorations.
Here are the most common circum-
stances where members may choose
to wear their decorations and the in-
signia of the Imperial Society.
Full Evening Dress
During events where decorations are
included in the dress code, members
may wear a breast badge on the left
below their breast pocket.
Black Tie
If an invitation to a black tie event
includes decoration in the dress
code, members of the society may
wear their breast badge on the left
below their breast pocket.
Lounge Suit
When members attend events like
Remembrance Sunday, they will of-
ten wear a lounge suit. If decorations
are fitting, they may wear a neck
badge on a ribbon under their collar.
Overcoat
If a member of the society is wear-
ing an overcoat to an event they’re
attending, they cannot wear one of
the typical insignia decorations of the
Imperial Society. Instead, they should
mount their full-size orders, decora-
tions and medals on a medal bar.
