Writing Exercise Research Paper
Simple exercises for writers.
Some writers usually write for more than eight hours a day. Others write for two or more hours per day. Whatever the case may be, writing exercises
are a great way to keep your writing skills and ideas fresh. They stimulate the mind and you get to 'tap into' your creative side. Doing writing exercises
every day or at least every other day can help you unwind from a long day of writing .You should always learn some good exercises for writers. This
can always keep your circulation going and so that you can be a writer for a very long time. If you don't move enough, you can end up with lots of
medical troubles. That's why it's important to get up and move around if you're used to sitting for long periods of time with no movement, as writers
often do.
You should always try to get your blood pumping every few hours. Set your alarm and get up and move around when it goes off. You don't have to
go running or jumping up and down or anything, you just need to get a little air moving through your lungs. If you can do this, you'll see your
writing get better and better each time. It's common for the words to slow down for us when we've been working for a long time at one sitting. You
may even feel yourself getting...show more content...
You don't have to go outdoors, as you can do exercises in the comfort of your own house. Some good exercises for writers to do are anything that
involve getting the blood going again. Do some jumping jacks in place, jog in one place for a while or take the dog for a walk. These are all great
ways to get some movement in your arms and legs. Not only that, but that cloud over your brain will lift and you'll find yourself thinking much more
clearly. You can do push–ups, squats, crunches, or anything else fitness related, but you must get out of that chair. You must stand up and move
around. If you don't, your blood pools in one place for too long and it could get

My Best Experience With Exercise In My Life
Your body is sore from physical exercises and you feel like giving up. Then you realize that having exercise in your life will help reach your
personal goals. Exercise can be a pain, but it is the good type of pain that motivates us to reach our goals. Currently, exercise has helped me to study
better for tests and to enjoy a fun sport with family. If I continue to have exercise in my life, I will have a healthy future.
My best experience with exercise was when I learned how to ride a two–wheel bicycle. I was 11 years old at the time and my father bought a new
bicycle for me. We went to a park and my father was giving me a little push to move forward. I almost fell and my nerves were kicking in. However, I
saw my father ride his bicycle with...show more content...
I still remember my whole body being sore from the first exercise routine. It showed me how much I needed to exercise my body or I will be in big
trouble when it comes to anything physical. I had to do pushups, sit ups, and so much more. When I went to the gym, I was given a personal
workout to complete. I will make my own exercise plan to implement in my studying hours at college. This gym class helped me to push my
hardest, even if I felt a lot of pain. I was able to overcome difficult workouts, like performing, squats, mountain climbers, and especially burpees.
Time management is a weakness that I still need to work on. I will be able to manage my time with studies and physical activities in college. At the
beginning of the year, my goals were to lose pounds, and improve on exercises that I did not like, such as running and pushups. I improved on my
running by running up a hill multiple times. I had more oxygen pumping throughout my body that enable me to run a farther distance.I lost some
pounds and my family is seeing the change. However, I still have to work on having a better diet. I tend to eat large portions that are not healthy for
me, like two plates of white rice. I will continue to lead a healthier lifestyle and hopefully my siblings do the

Exercise As A Healthy Lifestyle
Dear Karen, I am addressing you about your interest in exercise as a supplemental component in leading a healthy lifestyle. Based on the results of
your medical evaluations, I believe an exercise prescription is a viable option to help you reach your health and general fitness goals. I am excited
for the opportunity to work with you and think you have made an excellent choice to pursue exercise as a treatment option. I like to stress with my
clients that, although the goal is to get you exercising on your own, I am here to teach and support you so that you are comfortable and confident that
you are making decisions that will impact your health in a positive way. Although my services are science based and effective, it is crucial that you do
not use them as a replacement for general medical care from your physician. Exercise is a significant component to health in many ways. In the United
States, the leading causes of premature death are primarily diseases of the heart and circulatory systems. Diseases of utmost significance are coronary
artery disease, stroke, type II diabetes, and cancer. More and more evidence suggests that the increase in deaths with each of these conditions is
correlated with a decrease in the amount of exercise performed by the general population. The good news is that you have taken the first step toward
reversing this trend and I can help you achieve success. Vast amounts of research suggest exercise can help mitigate your risk for cardiovascular

My Reflection Of My Fitness Program
I really enjoyed my fitness program because thanks to it I realized that I am good at doing physical performance when I am motivated. In this
occasion, I was motivated because when I set myself an objective I make sure I accomplish it or at least I try very hard to accomplish it. Also, this
was an important work that I had to do for sports (it was practically the whole grading for this partial).
I liked this activity, and thanks to it I was able to rediscover myself an adapt a healthier lifestyle. This activity showed me that I can do whatever I
propose if I am motivated. It also showed me that I can be a persistent person. It showed me that I can be a persistent person because sometimes, when
doing my fitness plan, I thought that the exercises were really hard, but I didn't give up. I worked hard, and I persist on doing the exercises not matter
how harder they were.
I think that I achieved my goals because I have more flexibility, my core muscles are stronger and I consider that my cardiovascular system is in
good shape. I can affirm this because now I have a better performance in any physical activity than before. For example, last weekend we went to do
yoga with my family in a place called Aumau Yoga Studio. Before doing my fitness program, I wasn't capable of doing a lot of different yoga poses

Exercise and eating healthy are two of the most important things you need to do to take care of your body properly. Both exercise, and eating healthy,
have many advantages and benefits. They help with multiple things needed throughout your life. These things include growing physically, mentally,
and if you are religious, spiritually as well. All of this adds up to your body functioning in the highest and best way possible. Exercise, or physical
activity helps your body in many ways. For example, exercise helps control the weight of a human. It helps prevent people gaining unwanted weight
and helps people who have unwanted weight to lose it. (mayoclinic.com) When we eat, we are taking in calories, and then when we exercise we burn off

This is what causes us to be sore. The muscles then build back up, becoming stronger than before. (lifehacker.com) People still need to be careful
when they exercise because they can hurt themselves or overexert themselves while doing it. Being a little sore for a 24–48 hour period is normal but
when being sore is a severe pain, it was probably caused by overexertion. (lifehacker.com)
For people who want to lose weight when they exercise they need to take a completely different approach. Instead of doing high–intensity workout for
short periods of time, they need to do the exact opposite. Brian Parr from the Department of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of South
Carolina says: "When you exercise for a longer duration, you're going to use the slow twitch fibers that are really good at burning fat. If you went and
did a couple hundred meter sprints for your workout, it only works the fast muscle fibers, and they use primarily carbohydrates and don't burn that much
fat at all.
For example, when you get on an elliptical or treadmill you can push the "fat burning" button, it will be longer and lower intensity because that favors
the muscles that are going to burn more fat. So if you do a jog instead of a sprint, you're burning more fat." (lifehacker.com)
Even through all of this you need to have some variety because some exercises just burn the fat in

Benefits Of Physical Exercise For Health
Declining physical activity is surprising because in the West, it is often believed that many people do exercise. It is true that sports circles and
newspaper articles devoted to the benefits of physical exercise for health are more numerous than ever but, overall, the information related to the
usefulness of physical activity seem not lead to behaviour change (O 'Brien et al 2015). Sedentary lifestyles have serious consequences for public
health. In particular, in recent years, obesity is increasing dramatically throughout the European Region. Obesity, which is not simply a matter of
appearance, causes serious diseases and significantly increases the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases (O 'Brien et al 2015). Surveys in
various countries of the European Region show low levels of physical activity in many populations. Physical activity seems to be disappearing. We
travel by car more than ever, take care jobs increasingly sedentary and spend our leisure by spending less and less energy. Due to technical
progress, even the simplest tasks are mechanized and there is no need to strain to survive (O 'Brien et al 2015). The fitness and sports is a global
social phenomenon, recognized by all. It is clearly growing from a few years worldwide, especially in Europe, America and Asia, comprising all sport
activities carried out in gyms. From one point of view it is comparable to the process of hatching and development of modern sport in the 2nd half of
the twentieth century.

Persuasive Exercise Essay
INTRODUCTION
ATTENTION:I. Think of four important people in your life. One of these four people will be diagnosed with heart disease, diabetes, obesity, or
depression in the course of their life, which may eventually cause death. Imagine if that person had simply exercised for 30 minutes, 4–5 times a week.
They would most likely not be suffering from the disease, and living a happy healthy life.
II. Depression, Heart Disease and Diabetes are all major life threatening diseases that affect over 860,000 people combined in America every year.
III. Obesity is also a leading cause of death in America, causing approximately 300,000 deaths each year in America. It is now considered an epidemic.

The number one way to prevent these diseases from occurring in the first place is to regularly exercise. By getting your heart rate up and releasing
endorphins into your body naturally at least 5 times a week, you can reduce your risk of by diabetes by 34%, heart disease by 20%, can help you lose
weight to avoid obesity and instantly boots your mood to help partially treat or prevent depression.
METZLER 2
a. Exercising can become a habit, and something you carry on with your through the rest of your life. The earlier you start to exercise, the better
your health will be when you're older. However, it's also never too late to get active! Not only can a 5 year old exercise and have fun by joining a youth
soccer team, or playing Frisbee in the yard, but even an 80 year old can be active by joining an aerobics class or going on an easy walk down the street
for light exercise to get their heart pumping and promote blood flow.
b. Now you may be thinking, "I'm way too busy to work out during the day!" or "I'm too tired to fit in exercising along with everything else I have
to do." To avoid these roadblocks, utilize time you don't even realize you have. If you have 10 minutes between each class, use those to walk the long
way to the cafeteria, or make a detour to

Personal Exercise Plan Essay
Personal Exercise Plan I am going to organise my plan and then perform a personal exercise program, the overall aims of my personal training
programme are to: – 1. Improve specific and current fitness levels required for my sporting activity football e.g. Cardio vascular endurance but
mainly speed. 2. To improve fitness levels so I can concentrate more on my techniques and skills without having to worry about whether I can endure
a full practice session. 3. To improve the level of the standard of my performance and become more successful with my chosen sport 'football'. I will

shorter period of time (speed). Anaerobic and Aerobic Sessions When we reach our anaerobic threshold, it means that we are working so hard that
we cannot get enough oxygen to our muscles quickly enough. Our muscles will have to get energy from the anaerobic energy system instead.
Lactic acid will immediately start to build up. This causes pain, makes us tired and we will not be able to continue at the same intensity for very
long. We will build up an oxygen debt and we will also use up our limited supplies of oxygen. Although aerobic fitness will not be the main aim of
my fitness program, I will be improving it as my general fitness improves and should in turn help better my speed and activities like swimming will
help my cardio–vascular fitness and has other advantages as it will improve my muscular endurance, flexibility and speed and improve circulation.
Having a high anaerobic fitness level will help in my football because it means I will be able to keep going for longer when I have very little

Writing Exercise Analysis
In a writing exercise exploring different parts of myself, I learned that I am trying my best to be a family man while trying to have time for myself
to relax and unwind. I try my best to be as good of a father as possible. I spend as much time with my wife and daughter as I can, even though school
and work keeps me from spending most of my time with them. I try to take them out and have as much fun and family time as we can on my days off.
Yet, at the same time, I enjoy doing things on my own away from my family. I believe that everyone deserves a break from responsibility sometimes,
as long as it is within reason. I go out and play Magic the Gathering with my friends once a week in the evenings to unwind after a stressful day at work

Running is very good for humans in many different ways. It is a great way to get exercise, and a great way to meet new people. There are many
positives, and some negatives, it is easy, enjoyable and makes humans more social, you can do it at anytime, and it relieves stress rather than give
stress. Although there are some negatives with running, there are also many positives. Many people run because of the health reasons. It is good for the

easy, enjoyable and is very social. Many people see running as a good place to meet new people and enjoyable to do, it is also one of the easiest ways
to exercise. Running can be very fun, it is easy because you need no experience to run. Training for races is also fun it can be done by men and

Exercise : Exercise And Exercise Essay
We are all aware that exercise helps you physically. A big portion of us are ignorant to the fact that exercise can help you mentally as well. I say
ignorant because well all know that exercise is physically helpful, but are unaware that it also helps us in our everyday thinking. Exercise helps us
release stress, which helps us be calm and make wiser decisions without overthinking any situation. Many of us, or if not all of us, have experienced
or are experiencing stress of some sort. Instead of crying and staying in bed having bad thoughts, you should go for a jog or even a walk will help.
Keep in mind that exercise does not always have to be weights, gym. Neither does it have a time limit. What I mean is that you can do exercise for
as little as twenty minutes, or as much as two hours or more. Anything that is physical is exercise. Therefore, you can use exercise as a "tool" to
writing a very good paper. Exercise can help improve your writing because it will help you be more creative, and it will help you mentally.
Although it is kind of difficult to realize that exercise helps you mentally, exercise will help you think outside the box. I do not mean it in the way
that of you do not do exercise, you will not make decisions as smart as people who do exercise. What I mean is while doing exercise, you forget
about the outside world, and you just focus on your workout. Also, even if you are just going for a walk and not working out, you are listening to
music while you walk or

Exercise : Exercise And Exercise Group
The low heart rates from the exercise group and the high heart rates from the non–exercise group appeared as a result of both group's overall fitness
level. In order to achieve said results, each individual's average heart rate was taken by feeling a pulse five times. They were then categorized in the
exercise group or non–exercise group depending on whether or not they exercise for twenty minutes three times a week. There were no discrepancies
in the data overall, since the results were as expected. Exercise influenced heart rate by lowering it with an inversely proportional relationship. Regular
aerobic exercise is the kind of exercise that best influences heart rate and will cause heart rate to drop over time, meaning that your heart...show more

The causes, prevention, and treatment of all forms of cardiovascular disease remain active fields of biomedical research, with hundreds of scientific
studies being published on a weekly basis to this very day (Morris 1958). In order for a heart to be functioning properly, several physiological
criteria must be met. The blood vessels to the heart need to be functioning normally. The electrical conduction system has to be working in a
coordinated fashion for the blood to flow efficiently through the heart chambers. Also, all of the heart valves need to be working optimally so that
blood can flow in the proper direction and in adequate amounts. Finally, the arterial and venous systems need to be able to constrict and dilate so that
proper blood pressure is maintained and also so all of the cells of the body get an adequate blood flow (Anonymous C 2015). The exercise group for
this experiment is the group that's more likely to have met all these requirements at a more satisfactory level than the non–exercise group, and
therefore, are at less risk of cardiovascular diseases. Aerobic exercise breaks up stored fatty acids to provide more fuel to the heart (Levitt 2012).
Without exercise, excess energy obtained from food for example, will be stored as fat which can lead to obesity. Nearly 70% of American adults are
either overweight or obese. Being obese increases risk for heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and more (American Heart Association B
2014).

Now Is the Time to Commit to Be Fit
Self–care is important for every person. Taking the time to do activities and engaging in behaviors that make one happy is vital to health. One of those
activities could be exercising, which has many health benefits that contribute to a person's overall health. There are obvious benefits that many people
consider when thinking about exercise, such as weight management, strengthening bones and muscles, as well as reducing the risk of developing
cardiovascular disease; however, there are other advantages that are not as obvious which can positively impact overall health. Some of these
advantages include decreasing depression, preventing metabolic disorders and some cancers, improving memory, and decreasing stress. It can
sometimes be a struggle for people to exercise on a daily basis due to time constraints, prior engagements, or work, but by dedicating some time every
week to getting in some form of exercise, the benefits of exercise can be achieved. Self–care by means of exercising is valuable because of the
advantages that come from engaging in it, which reveals that it should be integrated in the nursing practice by teaching patients about these benefits.
Depression and stress affect many people, and, in some, can be debilitating. People who are experiencing depression and stress often report reduced
energy levels, lack of motivation,

Reflection Paper On Exercise
For the past 3 weeks, I have been working on improving my physical fitness by exercising at least 4 days a week, for 1 hour each time.
Incorporating exercise regimen in my daily life has always been something that I wanted to do since I begin my life as a student here at UNC. It's
has never been easy. Since I was a kid, I never had that natural thin, skinny physique. Everyone who saw me always said that, I will never be skin,
my body showed signs of growing into a woman with a thick figure. I knew that It will take time and dedication for me to keep myself at a stable
weight in order to stay healthy, and prevent any health complications in the future. When I lived in Africa, we had no car, so we walked
everywhere we needed to go, which kept me in shape. Once we moved to the United states, I played soccer in high school, and walked home from
school. But even though I walk on campus here in college, because I don't have a car, I realized that the amount of walks that I walk, is not enough
compared to the amount of time I spend seating down in class. Over the years, I have gained so much weight. I always talk about working out toward
getting skinnier and healthier, so that I can feel less tired, and feel better about myself, but starting the workout regimen and getting to the gym is
entirely another thing. Being in school all day, then going home, it's hard for me to get out of the house to go to the gym, instead, I will end up staying
in, and working on school work instead.

Argumentative Essay On Physical Exercise
Engaging in physical exercise has many advantages and it benefits, not only to the physical health but as well as the mental health. Exercising
regularly helps to maintain a good health balance in the body, reducing stress and overcoming anxiety and depression in a person. It also activate the
chemicals in a person's brain to develop a better mood. This argumentative essay will demonstrate about how exercising helps and improve not only a
person's physical health but also mental health such as depression, anxiety and stress.
"Exercise" is a well known word among people all over the world. In fact it is popular among teenagers and adults that are trying to stay fit and
healthy. The use of the word "Exercise" is highly overrated because people tend to think that exercising keep them in shape and to lose weights.
However, what they do not realised is that exercising also improve one's mental health including depression, anxiety and stress that most people are
facing these days. Exercising promote better mood control. Research shows that exercise put long–term depression at ease (Weir, 2011). Based on the
evidences of an experiment, studies shows that James Blumenthal, PhD, a clinical psychologist has investigated, together with his colleagues upon
some adults with major depressive disorders (Weir, 2011). According to Weir (2011) Blumenthal conducted a mood
–exercise connection experiments
and found out that "Exercise seems not only important for treating depression, but also in preventing relapse". The release of chemicals such as
endorphins and serotonin from exercising increases the mood (Health Direct Australia, 2016). In the year 2006, Otto and his colleagues analysed 11
studies examining the effects of exercise on mental health. It was determined that exercising could be a strong influence for clinical depression (Clinical
Psychology: Science and Practice, 2006, as cited in Weir, 2011). From this, it is concluded that clinicians should think carefully about adding exercise
to the treatment plans for their depressed patients (Weir, 2011).
Smits (Co–director) and Otto (Co–writer) of Anxiety and Research and Treatment Program have reasoned that regular exercise help people who are
exposed to anxiety

Reflection Paper On Exercise
I am relatively active and usually work out for about 45 minutes five days a week. This is because I was just in fitness for life 1 and have gotten
into the routine of working out. I haven't played any sports as of late, but in the summer time I go biking, hiking, and play tennis often. Winter is
usually a less popular time for me to be exercising just because of how cold it is outside as I do prefer to be outside. Right now I am running
outside and cycling at the gym. I like to work out outside whenever I can. I may run around Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun, or Lake of the Isles if it is
nice outside. If it is too cold out I go cycling at the Brooklyn Center Community Center. Sometimes I work out with my friend Rachel, but she is
quicker than me so it is harder to keep up. Other times I will bring my dog along for a run and that is usually fun. I am physically active five or six
days in a typical week. I usually work out for around forty five minutes every session and I have found that it is a good amount of time. Exercise makes
me feel very good, but only after the workout session. During, I feel as if I am exploding or dying. It can be very hard. Afterwards I usually feel
very energetic and happy. This is an improvement from the usual slouchy feeling I have during a day I don't exercise on. I think the benefits to me
from exercise are becoming fit, having my mood lifted, feeling more energised, and I tend to feel better rested.
Fitness for life has definitely been a factor in influencing my activity level as it forced me to begin exercising regularly and recording it all. My
parents have also encouraged me to be more active as it is winter and I don't do very many activities that make me move during the winter. My
friends have also influenced my activity level by having me run with them, however, they are much faster than me. I think that I am at a great
activity level right now and don't feel a need to increase it because at this point every new workout is a challenge. Having to work during the week
keeps me from exercising because I only have forty five minutes between getting home from school and then going to work to do anything, and I'd
prefer to just rest for that time as I would be on my feet for my

People spend millions of dollars every year on drugs that they are convinced that will help you lose weight, grow hair, reduce stress, anxiety, and plenty

weight, improve cardiovascular health, help control stress, help improve muscle, bone, and joint health, benefit diabetic problems, and could do many
other things to benefit their health? Exercise is something that is proven to help all of these things, but not a lot of people exercise on a regular basis.
This is something that you do not have to pay for, so what is stopping everyone from exercising? There are many positive effects of...show more

Although if you're eating habits are unhealthy changing them would be a good idea. An average woman who exercises 3.5 days a week (176minutes)
will lose more significant amount of weight than some one who does not exercise at all. But you have to understand that when you are exercising,
you are also replacing fat with muscle and muscle weighs more than fat, but I know I would be happy if I didn't lose weight and replaced my fat with
muscle. Overweight but fit people generally have half of the death rate than people who are overweight and unfit. People who have trained for quite a
long time develop more effective mechanisms for burning fat and are capable to remain leaner.
It does not matter what your level of fitness is, it can always be improved with normal exercise no matter what your age, but you have to know that
some kinds of exercise are more effective for cardiovascular health than others. Any type of activity that works large groups of body muscles for
about twenty minutes increases cardiac output and metabolic rate. You should practice this at least three to five times a week for it to be effective
on the cardiovascular system. The heart will become larger and stronger as a result of exercising so it will be able to pump more blood though the
body. The resting heart rate is slower in people who exercise because the heart needs less effort to pump the blood. Being inactive is one of the major
risks for people with coronary artery

The Health Benefits of Exercise Essay
Exercise is one of the most important factors in a persons' life. Physical activity, or the lack of it, can result in a person having a healthy life or cause
them to have diabetes. The benefits of exercise are countless. The positive health results, the improvement in attitude, even better academic
performance are all factors which make not exercising inexcusable.
Merely not using a person's body is harmful. Not being active results in a person's muscles becoming weak and out of condition. The effectiveness of
a person's heart and lungs will decrease. A person's joints will become stiff and can be injured easily. Inactivity can be as much of a health risk as

Adults should have around thirty to sixty minutes of physical activity four to six times a week. Two hours and thirty minutes is the minimum a fully
developed person needs to lessen the risk of having some type of chronic disease later in life ("Information").
Physical fitness has two main classifications–performance related and health related. People have different performance related requirements in
accordance with their occupation but all people have the same health related requirements (The World). Then there are two types of exercise that helps
tone a person's body while increasing its endurance. These are aerobic and anaerobic. Aerobic exercise is exercise that uses the muscles and
bones. Cardio activities are a good example of this, such as running or biking. This type of exercise increases the strength of a person's heart and
boosts their lung capacity. Anaerobic exercise is an intense but short amount of exercise (Payment). Since it is only for a brief amount of time, it
does not require the amount of oxygen aerobic exercise does. Instead it uses glycogen which comes from the sugar in a person's blood. An example
of this exercise is weight lifting or sprinting. A person's requires both anaerobic and aerobic exercise for good health. Simply doing a cardio work out
is not healthy, and for a person to see real results there must be some activity like weight lifting ("Anaerobic").
By performing some type of physical activity each

Writing Exercise Research Paper

  • 1. Writing Exercise Research Paper Simple exercises for writers. Some writers usually write for more than eight hours a day. Others write for two or more hours per day. Whatever the case may be, writing exercises are a great way to keep your writing skills and ideas fresh. They stimulate the mind and you get to 'tap into' your creative side. Doing writing exercises every day or at least every other day can help you unwind from a long day of writing .You should always learn some good exercises for writers. This can always keep your circulation going and so that you can be a writer for a very long time. If you don't move enough, you can end up with lots of medical troubles. That's why it's important to get up and move around if you're used to sitting for long periods of time with no movement, as writers often do. You should always try to get your blood pumping every few hours. Set your alarm and get up and move around when it goes off. You don't have to go running or jumping up and down or anything, you just need to get a little air moving through your lungs. If you can do this, you'll see your writing get better and better each time. It's common for the words to slow down for us when we've been working for a long time at one sitting. You may even feel yourself getting...show more content... You don't have to go outdoors, as you can do exercises in the comfort of your own house. Some good exercises for writers to do are anything that involve getting the blood going again. Do some jumping jacks in place, jog in one place for a while or take the dog for a walk. These are all great ways to get some movement in your arms and legs. Not only that, but that cloud over your brain will lift and you'll find yourself thinking much more clearly. You can do push–ups, squats, crunches, or anything else fitness related, but you must get out of that chair. You must stand up and move around. If you don't, your blood pools in one place for too long and it could get Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Best Experience With Exercise In My Life Your body is sore from physical exercises and you feel like giving up. Then you realize that having exercise in your life will help reach your personal goals. Exercise can be a pain, but it is the good type of pain that motivates us to reach our goals. Currently, exercise has helped me to study better for tests and to enjoy a fun sport with family. If I continue to have exercise in my life, I will have a healthy future. My best experience with exercise was when I learned how to ride a two–wheel bicycle. I was 11 years old at the time and my father bought a new bicycle for me. We went to a park and my father was giving me a little push to move forward. I almost fell and my nerves were kicking in. However, I saw my father ride his bicycle with...show more content... I still remember my whole body being sore from the first exercise routine. It showed me how much I needed to exercise my body or I will be in big trouble when it comes to anything physical. I had to do pushups, sit ups, and so much more. When I went to the gym, I was given a personal workout to complete. I will make my own exercise plan to implement in my studying hours at college. This gym class helped me to push my hardest, even if I felt a lot of pain. I was able to overcome difficult workouts, like performing, squats, mountain climbers, and especially burpees. Time management is a weakness that I still need to work on. I will be able to manage my time with studies and physical activities in college. At the beginning of the year, my goals were to lose pounds, and improve on exercises that I did not like, such as running and pushups. I improved on my running by running up a hill multiple times. I had more oxygen pumping throughout my body that enable me to run a farther distance.I lost some pounds and my family is seeing the change. However, I still have to work on having a better diet. I tend to eat large portions that are not healthy for me, like two plates of white rice. I will continue to lead a healthier lifestyle and hopefully my siblings do the Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Exercise As A Healthy Lifestyle Dear Karen, I am addressing you about your interest in exercise as a supplemental component in leading a healthy lifestyle. Based on the results of your medical evaluations, I believe an exercise prescription is a viable option to help you reach your health and general fitness goals. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you and think you have made an excellent choice to pursue exercise as a treatment option. I like to stress with my clients that, although the goal is to get you exercising on your own, I am here to teach and support you so that you are comfortable and confident that you are making decisions that will impact your health in a positive way. Although my services are science based and effective, it is crucial that you do not use them as a replacement for general medical care from your physician. Exercise is a significant component to health in many ways. In the United States, the leading causes of premature death are primarily diseases of the heart and circulatory systems. Diseases of utmost significance are coronary artery disease, stroke, type II diabetes, and cancer. More and more evidence suggests that the increase in deaths with each of these conditions is correlated with a decrease in the amount of exercise performed by the general population. The good news is that you have taken the first step toward reversing this trend and I can help you achieve success. Vast amounts of research suggest exercise can help mitigate your risk for cardiovascular Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Reflection Of My Fitness Program I really enjoyed my fitness program because thanks to it I realized that I am good at doing physical performance when I am motivated. In this occasion, I was motivated because when I set myself an objective I make sure I accomplish it or at least I try very hard to accomplish it. Also, this was an important work that I had to do for sports (it was practically the whole grading for this partial). I liked this activity, and thanks to it I was able to rediscover myself an adapt a healthier lifestyle. This activity showed me that I can do whatever I propose if I am motivated. It also showed me that I can be a persistent person. It showed me that I can be a persistent person because sometimes, when doing my fitness plan, I thought that the exercises were really hard, but I didn't give up. I worked hard, and I persist on doing the exercises not matter how harder they were. I think that I achieved my goals because I have more flexibility, my core muscles are stronger and I consider that my cardiovascular system is in good shape. I can affirm this because now I have a better performance in any physical activity than before. For example, last weekend we went to do yoga with my family in a place called Aumau Yoga Studio. Before doing my fitness program, I wasn't capable of doing a lot of different yoga poses ...show more content... So, at first my mother and I were really exhausted, and we barely did 3–kilometer jogging. Luckily each week we were improving a lot. Suddenly my mother and I were no longer exhausted when jogging 3 kilometers. So, we increased the kilometers, that we planned to jog, each week. Now, we can do 6 kilometers. I thought that I will never be able to achieve such a thing and I am really proud of my mom and me. We plan to continue jogging every Sunday together at Carolina park and achieve the 10 Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Exercise and eating healthy are two of the most important things you need to do to take care of your body properly. Both exercise, and eating healthy, have many advantages and benefits. They help with multiple things needed throughout your life. These things include growing physically, mentally, and if you are religious, spiritually as well. All of this adds up to your body functioning in the highest and best way possible. Exercise, or physical activity helps your body in many ways. For example, exercise helps control the weight of a human. It helps prevent people gaining unwanted weight and helps people who have unwanted weight to lose it. (mayoclinic.com) When we eat, we are taking in calories, and then when we exercise we burn off ...show more content... This is what causes us to be sore. The muscles then build back up, becoming stronger than before. (lifehacker.com) People still need to be careful when they exercise because they can hurt themselves or overexert themselves while doing it. Being a little sore for a 24–48 hour period is normal but when being sore is a severe pain, it was probably caused by overexertion. (lifehacker.com) For people who want to lose weight when they exercise they need to take a completely different approach. Instead of doing high–intensity workout for short periods of time, they need to do the exact opposite. Brian Parr from the Department of Exercise and Sports Science at the University of South Carolina says: "When you exercise for a longer duration, you're going to use the slow twitch fibers that are really good at burning fat. If you went and did a couple hundred meter sprints for your workout, it only works the fast muscle fibers, and they use primarily carbohydrates and don't burn that much fat at all. For example, when you get on an elliptical or treadmill you can push the "fat burning" button, it will be longer and lower intensity because that favors the muscles that are going to burn more fat. So if you do a jog instead of a sprint, you're burning more fat." (lifehacker.com) Even through all of this you need to have some variety because some exercises just burn the fat in Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 6. Benefits Of Physical Exercise For Health Declining physical activity is surprising because in the West, it is often believed that many people do exercise. It is true that sports circles and newspaper articles devoted to the benefits of physical exercise for health are more numerous than ever but, overall, the information related to the usefulness of physical activity seem not lead to behaviour change (O 'Brien et al 2015). Sedentary lifestyles have serious consequences for public health. In particular, in recent years, obesity is increasing dramatically throughout the European Region. Obesity, which is not simply a matter of appearance, causes serious diseases and significantly increases the risk of diabetes and cardiovascular diseases (O 'Brien et al 2015). Surveys in various countries of the European Region show low levels of physical activity in many populations. Physical activity seems to be disappearing. We travel by car more than ever, take care jobs increasingly sedentary and spend our leisure by spending less and less energy. Due to technical progress, even the simplest tasks are mechanized and there is no need to strain to survive (O 'Brien et al 2015). The fitness and sports is a global social phenomenon, recognized by all. It is clearly growing from a few years worldwide, especially in Europe, America and Asia, comprising all sport activities carried out in gyms. From one point of view it is comparable to the process of hatching and development of modern sport in the 2nd half of the twentieth century. Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 7. Persuasive Exercise Essay INTRODUCTION ATTENTION:I. Think of four important people in your life. One of these four people will be diagnosed with heart disease, diabetes, obesity, or depression in the course of their life, which may eventually cause death. IV (EXPERIENCE). I have...show more content... The number one way to prevent these diseases from occurring in the first place is to regularly exercise. By getting your heart rate up and releasing endorphins into your body naturally at least 5 times a week, you can reduce your risk of by diabetes by 34%, heart disease by 20%, can help you lose weight to avoid obesity and instantly boots your mood to help partially treat or prevent depression. Our muscles will have to get energy from the anaerobic energy system instead. Lactic acid will immediately start to build up. This causes pain, makes us tired and we will not be able to continue at the same intensity for very long. We will build up an oxygen debt and we will also use up our limited supplies of oxygen. • 12. Exercise : Exercise And Exercise Essay We are all aware that exercise helps you physically. A big portion of us are ignorant to the fact that exercise can help you mentally as well. I say ignorant because well all know that exercise is physically helpful, but are unaware that it also helps us in our everyday thinking. Exercise helps us release stress, which helps us be calm and make wiser decisions without overthinking any situation. Many of us, or if not all of us, have experienced or are experiencing stress of some sort. Instead of crying and staying in bed having bad thoughts, you should go for a jog or even a walk will help. Keep in mind that exercise does not always have to be weights, gym. Neither does it have a time limit. What I mean is that you can do exercise for as little as twenty minutes, or as much as two hours or more. Anything that is physical is exercise. Therefore, you can use exercise as a "tool" to writing a very good paper. Exercise can help improve your writing because it will help you be more creative, and it will help you mentally. Although it is kind of difficult to realize that exercise helps you mentally, exercise will help you think outside the box. I do not mean it in the way that of you do not do exercise, you will not make decisions as smart as people who do exercise. What I mean is while doing exercise, you forget about the outside world, and you just focus on your workout. Also, even if you are just going for a walk and not working out, you are listening to music while you walk or Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 13. Exercise : Exercise And Exercise Group The low heart rates from the exercise group and the high heart rates from the non–exercise group appeared as a result of both group's overall fitness level. In order to achieve said results, each individual's average heart rate was taken by feeling a pulse five times. They were then categorized in the exercise group or non–exercise group depending on whether or not they exercise for twenty minutes three times a week. There were no discrepancies in the data overall, since the results were as expected. Exercise influenced heart rate by lowering it with an inversely proportional relationship. Regular aerobic exercise is the kind of exercise that best influences heart rate and will cause heart rate to drop over time, meaning that your heart...show more content... The causes, prevention, and treatment of all forms of cardiovascular disease remain active fields of biomedical research, with hundreds of scientific studies being published on a weekly basis to this very day (Morris 1958). In order for a heart to be functioning properly, several physiological criteria must be met. The blood vessels to the heart need to be functioning normally. The electrical conduction system has to be working in a coordinated fashion for the blood to flow efficiently through the heart chambers. Also, all of the heart valves need to be working optimally so that blood can flow in the proper direction and in adequate amounts. Finally, the arterial and venous systems need to be able to constrict and dilate so that proper blood pressure is maintained and also so all of the cells of the body get an adequate blood flow (Anonymous C 2015). The exercise group for this experiment is the group that's more likely to have met all these requirements at a more satisfactory level than the non–exercise group, and therefore, are at less risk of cardiovascular diseases. Aerobic exercise breaks up stored fatty acids to provide more fuel to the heart (Levitt 2012). Without exercise, excess energy obtained from food for example, will be stored as fat which can lead to obesity. Nearly 70% of American adults are either overweight or obese. Being obese increases risk for heart disease, stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes and more (American Heart Association B 2014). Get more content on HelpWriting.net

One of those activities could be exercising, which has many health benefits that contribute to a person's overall health. There are obvious benefits that many people consider when thinking about exercise, such as weight management, strengthening bones and muscles, as well as reducing the risk of developing cardiovascular disease; however, there are other advantages that are not as obvious which can positively impact overall health. Some of these advantages include decreasing depression, preventing metabolic disorders and some cancers, improving memory, and decreasing stress. It can sometimes be a struggle for people to exercise on a daily basis due to time constraints, prior engagements, or work, but by dedicating some time every week to getting in some form of exercise, the benefits of exercise can be achieved. • 16. Reflection Paper On Exercise For the past 3 weeks, I have been working on improving my physical fitness by exercising at least 4 days a week, for 1 hour each time. Incorporating exercise regimen in my daily life has always been something that I wanted to do since I begin my life as a student here at UNC. It's has never been easy. Since I was a kid, I never had that natural thin, skinny physique. Everyone who saw me always said that, I will never be skin, my body showed signs of growing into a woman with a thick figure. I knew that It will take time and dedication for me to keep myself at a stable weight in order to stay healthy, and prevent any health complications in the future. When I lived in Africa, we had no car, so we walked everywhere we needed to go, which kept me in shape. Once we moved to the United states, I played soccer in high school, and walked home from school. But even though I walk on campus here in college, because I don't have a car, I realized that the amount of walks that I walk, is not enough compared to the amount of time I spend seating down in class. Over the years, I have gained so much weight. I always talk about working out toward getting skinnier and healthier, so that I can feel less tired, and feel better about myself, but starting the workout regimen and getting to the gym is entirely another thing. Being in school all day, then going home, it's hard for me to get out of the house to go to the gym, instead, I will end up staying in, and working on school work instead. • 17. Argumentative Essay On Physical Exercise Engaging in physical exercise has many advantages and it benefits, not only to the physical health but as well as the mental health. Exercising regularly helps to maintain a good health balance in the body, reducing stress and overcoming anxiety and depression in a person. It also activate the chemicals in a person's brain to develop a better mood. This argumentative essay will demonstrate about how exercising helps and improve not only a person's physical health but also mental health such as depression, anxiety and stress. "Exercise" is a well known word among people all over the world. In fact it is popular among teenagers and adults that are trying to stay fit and healthy. The use of the word "Exercise" is highly overrated because people tend to think that exercising keep them in shape and to lose weights. However, what they do not realised is that exercising also improve one's mental health including depression, anxiety and stress that most people are facing these days. Exercising promote better mood control. Research shows that exercise put long–term depression at ease (Weir, 2011). Based on the evidences of an experiment, studies shows that James Blumenthal, PhD, a clinical psychologist has investigated, together with his colleagues upon some adults with major depressive disorders (Weir, 2011). According to Weir (2011) Blumenthal conducted a mood –exercise connection experiments and found out that "Exercise seems not only important for treating depression, but also in preventing relapse". The release of chemicals such as endorphins and serotonin from exercising increases the mood (Health Direct Australia, 2016). In the year 2006, Otto and his colleagues analysed 11 studies examining the effects of exercise on mental health. It was determined that exercising could be a strong influence for clinical depression (Clinical Psychology: Science and Practice, 2006, as cited in Weir, 2011). From this, it is concluded that clinicians should think carefully about adding exercise to the treatment plans for their depressed patients (Weir, 2011). Smits (Co–director) and Otto (Co–writer) of Anxiety and Research and Treatment Program have reasoned that regular exercise help people who are exposed to anxiety Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 18. Reflection Paper On Exercise I am relatively active and usually work out for about 45 minutes five days a week. This is because I was just in fitness for life 1 and have gotten into the routine of working out. I haven't played any sports as of late, but in the summer time I go biking, hiking, and play tennis often. Winter is usually a less popular time for me to be exercising just because of how cold it is outside as I do prefer to be outside. Right now I am running outside and cycling at the gym. I like to work out outside whenever I can. I may run around Lake Harriet, Lake Calhoun, or Lake of the Isles if it is nice outside. If it is too cold out I go cycling at the Brooklyn Center Community Center. Sometimes I work out with my friend Rachel, but she is quicker than me so it is harder to keep up. Other times I will bring my dog along for a run and that is usually fun. I am physically active five or six days in a typical week. I usually work out for around forty five minutes every session and I have found that it is a good amount of time. Exercise makes me feel very good, but only after the workout session. During, I feel as if I am exploding or dying. It can be very hard. Afterwards I usually feel very energetic and happy. This is an improvement from the usual slouchy feeling I have during a day I don't exercise on. I think the benefits to me from exercise are becoming fit, having my mood lifted, feeling more energised, and I tend to feel better rested. Fitness for life has definitely been a factor in influencing my activity level as it forced me to begin exercising regularly and recording it all. My parents have also encouraged me to be more active as it is winter and I don't do very many activities that make me move during the winter. My friends have also influenced my activity level by having me run with them, however, they are much faster than me. I think that I am at a great activity level right now and don't feel a need to increase it because at this point every new workout is a challenge. Having to work during the week keeps me from exercising because I only have forty five minutes between getting home from school and then going to work to do anything, and I'd prefer to just rest for that time as I would be on my feet for my Get more content on HelpWriting.net

You should practice this at least three to five times a week for it to be effective on the cardiovascular system. Two hours and thirty minutes is the minimum a fully developed person needs to lessen the risk of having some type of chronic disease later in life ("Information"). Physical fitness has two main classifications–performance related and health related. People have different performance related requirements in accordance with their occupation but all people have the same health related requirements (The World). Then there are two types of exercise that helps tone a person's body while increasing its endurance. These are aerobic and anaerobic. Aerobic exercise is exercise that uses the muscles and bones. Cardio activities are a good example of this, such as running or biking. This type of exercise increases the strength of a person's heart and boosts their lung capacity. Anaerobic exercise is an intense but short amount of exercise (Payment). Since it is only for a brief amount of time, it does not require the amount of oxygen aerobic exercise does. Instead it uses glycogen which comes from the sugar in a person's blood. An example of this exercise is weight lifting or sprinting. A person's requires both anaerobic and aerobic exercise for good health. Simply doing a cardio work out is not healthy, and for a person to see real results there must be some activity like weight lifting ("Anaerobic").
