Project: My Coupons Auditing.
Description:
Auditing is a process we put all of our online offers through in order to insure Good, Accurate, and
Unique content for each code or discount that we allow on site. Each day we have “coupon crawlers”,
which are technical scripts that go out and pull new codes and content from our affiliated networks that we
are partnered with. Examples of these networks are Link share, Google Affiliate Network (GAN),
Commission Junction (CJ), ShareAsale (SAS), and Pepper jam (PJ), to name a few. It then becomes our
task to sort through all of these offers and audit them accordingly.
The purpose of auditing is the content received from the “coupon crawlers” is jumbled and not
displayed in a user friendly manner. We review the content to be sure everything that goes on to
MyCoupons.com is accurate and easy to understand for our valuable users. It is also important for the
success of our website to have content that is different from our competitors; this is why we rewrite each
