Mr. Pavan Nanduru was a Master student at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH). He wrote his Master Thesis at
the Software Engineering Research Lab in the area of quality requirements and software product management. I
had the pleasure to supervise Mr. Nanduru during this master thesis project.
In his master thesis, Mr. Nanduru investigated the state of the literature performing an extensive systematic
literature review. Moreover, Mr. Nanduru have designed a meta-model for managing quality requirements in the
product lifecycle and executed a survey among practitioners and researchers to validate this meta-model.
Mr. Nanduru has strong motivation to perform high quality research and very good skills in conducting empirical
studies. I have observed him quickly developing his academic writing and utilizing any help that he received from
me during his Master Thesis project. He works independently and puts substantial effort in improving his work by
incorporating my feedback. Furthermore, the research that I have been collaborating on with him has been done
with high rigor.
Mr. Nanduru possesses deep knowledge in software engineering and requirements engineering and development
from both technical and process perspectives. Moreover, I experienced Mr. Nanduru as a motivated and truly
responsible person for a given task. I strongly believe that Mr. Nanduru enjoys performing research on complex
problems.
His behavior towards his supervisors and collaborators was at all times impeccable. I cordially recommend Mr.
Nanduru to any future employer, and I am convinced that he will make great contributions to future company or
research institution.
