thick seasoned Jarrah timber slats, spaced 15mm apart from each other and fixed into
concrete plinth with countersunk security screws.

Slots cut through plate to allow protective corner blade sections to be fitted. Base plate to have slotted holes
allowing structure to shift if impacted by vehicle (skid plate).
4mm thick aluminium sign face with digitally printed self adhesive cast vinyl graphic applied to face.
Tedlar anti-graffiti film overlay. Sides of all panels mitred to sit against protective blade (refer to plan view of sign).
1mm thick zink anneal folded“U”section fixed to rear of panel using Sikaflex and 3M 4941 vhb acrylic foam tape.
All surfaces sanded, cleaned and primed as per 3M recommened procedure. This method will enable each face to
be removed for vandalism repair or council event promotional graphics to applied.
75mm x 75mm x 3mm shs main vertical support with internal triangular plates sleeved over and welded in place.

VEHICLE IMPACT ZONE
4mm thick stainless steel protective blade protruding from sign face by 3mm. Exposed corners to have pencil
round edges machined. Blade fixed to internal triangular plate using Sikaflex.

support welded to hook arm with 10mm thick
gussets welded on 4 sides. 2 pack primed and
2 pack automotive paint finish Metallic Silver to
match Dulux powder coat colour “Bright Silver”.
Middle hook arm - 2 x 300mm wide x 10mm thick
plates welded to 75mm x 75mm x 4mm Duragal
RHS frame then sleeved over exisiting 219mm diameter
horizontal pipe support. Hook arm fixed in place with
4 x M12 stainless steel hexagon head bolts tapped into
pipe from rear. 2 pack primed and 2 pack automotive
paint finish to match Yellow PANTONE 1235 C.
NOTE: New horizontal 219 diameter pipe support to be
welded in place then galv primed ready for final paint coat.
Bottom hook arm - 2 x 300mm wide x 10mm thick plates
welded to 75mm x 75mm x 4mm Duragal RHS frame
then sleeved over new 219mm diameter horizontal
pipe support. Hook arm fixed in place with 4 x M12
stainless steel hexagon head bolts tapped into pipe from rear.
2 pack primed and 2 pack automotive paint finish to match
Yellow PANTONE 1235 C.
5mm thick aluminium image panel with
150mm high x 100mm wide x 5mm thick
aluminium tag plate welded to rear.
Powder coat to match Dulux “Bright Silver”.
Image panel fixed to 75mm x 75mm x 4mm frame
with 4 x M12 stainless steel bolts.
NOTE: Neoprene washer to be placed between
aluminium tag and RHS frame.
Full colour high resolution digitally printed image on
reinforced flex face vinyl, tensioned over 5mm
aluminium plate. 20mm x 3mm flat bar fitted within
pocket to strengthen fixing and anchored to clips
welded to rear of panel with UV stable rubber rings.
