Project Description
Ramboll were appointed to
provide acoustic design
services for the fit-out of a
newly acquired office space in
central London.
The work included the design
of offices, kitchen and dining
areas, VIP meeting area, CEO
offices, board meeting rooms,
and subsidiary meeting rooms,
all with high acoustic
standards.
A very high level of acoustic
privacy was required between
meeting rooms, conference
rooms and the company
presidents office. The levels of
privacy needed to be
maintained with a mechanical
services system that required
open voids above ceilings, so
full height partitions were not
possible.
The innovative design solutions
developed in conjunction with
the services engineers ensured
good levels of ventilation were
maintained while achieving the
high levels of acoustic
separation.
