To Whom It May Concern:
I am currently working as the director of merchandise at Starbucks and writing in
reference to the drive and enthusiasm I witnessed while working with Patti Hair. I had
the pleasure of hiring Patti as a back fill for a product manager that was out on maternity
in our serveware category last Fall.
Patti has the unique ability to jump into a situation fraught with ambiguity and amazingly
move projects forward. She has deep knowledge of product development in many
subcategories and is interested and enthusiastic to learn more, as well as share her
knowledge with others.
Her strengths really lie in thinking creatively. She didn’t shy away from road bocks, but
instead found a way around them to enable success. She was very collaborative and a
good team player; often bringing product ideas to others on our team. In the short time
she was with us, she made an impact in both product development, (we were deep in
developing holiday) as well as making an impact on the team. She was quick to get
involved in projects and didn’t hesitate to put in the extra effort where needed.
I hope this letter is useful when evaluating Patti’s potential. If you have any additional
questions, please feel free to contact me at the number listed below or by email at
