2. Erasure, removing information from the original
document, can be accomplished by abrasive or
chemical means. Abrasive erasure, the kind one
normally does with a pencil eraser, disturbs the
finish of the paper surface. Depending on the
degree of damage, the evidence of erasure can be
seen with the unaided eye or a microscope. Some
samples require side lighting, placing a light source
at an angle to the surface of the paper, to detect an
erasure.
3. TYPES OF ERASURES
1. Chemical Erasures: Different kind of chemicals
present now a days which remove all the content of
the ink where one can write with same flow.
2. Physical Erasures: In this category Blades, Pins
or other things are used which remove the surface
of paper and also here we find the changes in the
ink dispersion.
