3. Workshop objective
This inaugural national laboratory workshop will provide an opportunity
for laboratory teams involved in the delivery of the Infectious Diseases
in Pregnancy Screening Programme to receive updates on:
• the current priorities of the IDPS Programme
• the UKAS accreditation process
• findings from QA activities
• learning from screening safety incidents
• screening standards data collection
• GIFT
Also participate in table top discussions on the revision of the
programme laboratory handbook, specifically screening algorithms and
reporting
