4. ABSTRACT
The project aims to design an Airline
Ticketing System application which enables
the customers to search and book flight.
Airline Ticketing System contain fare tiffs
passenger reservations and ticket records.
5. PROBLEM STATEMENT
To design and develop system to manage
the activities like reserving the seat,
cancelling the reserved seat and to store the
data of various activities involved in the
process of reservation into the database.

• To add new aircrafts and flights.
• To activate aircrafts.
• To deactivate existing aircrafts.
• To book and cancel ticket.
• To view booked ticket and view detail of
upcoming and completed journey.

• Add aircrafts and flights Admin is able to use this system to
add aircrafts and flights by providing jetid, Capacity and flight no
etc.
• Activate aircrafts and deactivate aircrafts Admin can activate
and deactivate aircrafts by providing jetid.
• View detail of upcoming and completed journey Admin can
view the tickets which are booked by customers.
• Book ticket Customer can book tickets by providing all personal
details, source, destination, Journey date.
• Print booked ticket Customer can print booked ticket by pnr
number.
• Cancel booked ticket Customer can cancel the booked flight

13. IMPLEMENTATION
The Proposed system has following modules
1.Admin: This module is used to add information of
flight and jet like jetid, jet model, Capacity of jet,
flight_name, source, destination, departure date
and time, arrival date and time, total number of
seats in economy and business class, cost of each
seat in economy and business class, activation
and deactivation of flight.
2.Customer: This module is used to book flight
ticket, view booked flight ticket, print booked flight
ticket, and cancel the booked ticket.
