“Loan Pilot” to demonstrate effective construction lending for small businesses in Haiti.

Activities performed: Working with AfH to develop a construction loan product targeting the needs
of SMEs seeking to rebuild their premises damaged by the 2010 earthquake. Identify banking
partners willing to extend the loan utilizing their funds (backed by AfH cash deposits or other third
party guarantees).
Feasibility Study for a Banking Services Company

Main project features: The Association of Banks in Palestine (ABP) and other stakeholders
conducted a Feasibility Study for a Banking Services Company. This company will support the
Palestinian economy through excelling banking services for banks and the community in the
Palestinian territories and be the central banking services provider for the Palestinian banks.
Positions held: Financial modeler
Activities performed: Developed a generic financial model that fits into the requirements of a
standard Banking Services Company servicing banks switching, Visa/Master Cards Acquiring and
International Gateway business. Defined the cost structure of the BSC. Estimated revenues, costs
and capital expenditure over five year interval. Customized and generated a five year financial
model of the projected BSC.
