Profile:
I am an award-winning director of short drama, content, TVCs and music promos.
I edit the majority of my own work and for an increasing number of clients.
Film and Video Editing
I continue to develop my skills as an editor on a daily basis, improving my technical understanding of
workflows, seamless audio editing of interviews and best practices for working as part of an edit team.
This experience combined with my years as a director means that I combine 'storytelling' with practical
and technical knowledge and can now offer editing as part of my directing or as a separate booking.
My preferred NLE is Premiere Pro CC.
Content
I have previously been commissioned to direct commercial and content films for global brands,
charities and NGOs including: Heineken; Asda; the Welsh Rugby Union; Boots; McDonalds;
Glaxosmithkline, and Ford UK amongst others.
I work with all levels of talent from first time actors to CEOs of global companies. Previous
commissioners for my video work, alongside the regular labels, include Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber and
Sonny Takar at Syco and several promos for Eurovision at the BBC.
I have directed and interviewed talent across the world including: Cara Delavigne; Daisy Lowe; Cheryl
Cole; Lionel Messi; Dame Kelly Holmes; the Brownlee Brothers; Alan Carr; David Walliams; Holly
Valance, and Adam Hills.
Drama
In 2015 I will write and direct my second Film London commission ( and first for Creative England)
'The White Room' as part of the Alumni scheme. Recent short films I have written and directed are
'Two Seas' and 'Toof' - these have screened globally at festivals including the BFI London Film
Festival.
I'm a confident writer and constantly self-generate. I have written several features which both got
picked up for development. In 2015 I co-wrote the short film 'Two Sides' with Lorie Trainor
Buckingham and James Copeman for Cornetto; the short was a massive international success and also
became part of a pop-up cinema event in Westfield Stratford.
Governmental Work
In the past I have been subcontracted to write tenders, voiceover scripts and edit numerous films for the
UK government, including work for the Financial Ombudsman; the Food Standards Agency, and the
National Crime Agency.
