The name « Otelair » is the French
combination of the 3 nature elements:
water, earth and air.
Otelair Ltée was founded in February
2005, by Olivier Bourquin, passionate
of sport and nature.
The company’s services vary from
professional rope access work, sport
and nature activities, rock climbing &
artificial climbing wall construction and
corporate teambuilding events.
Rich of his experience in these
different fields, Olivier is as well

5. WHAT IS ROPE ACCESS?
Rope Access is the application of specialized rope
techniques to place workers in hard-to-reach
locations in the vertical environment.
It is an efficient method of accessing structures
for surveys, maintenance, installation, repairs and
inspection using advanced roping techniques.
By minimising disruption at ground level,
Rope Access often allows other trades to continue working
when compared with the
disruption caused by scaffolding.
