“Teaching Real Hiphop Culture and Respect for All”
MESSAGE FROM FOUNDER:
HELLO TO ALL ODORI 73 MEMBERS/FAMILY,
I KNOW THAT IN THE PAST I'VE BEEN HARD ON ALOT OF
DANCERS, BBOYS, LOCKERS, POPPERS, HOUSE DANCERS, JUDGES,
DISORGANIZATION, AND NON-DISCIPLINE IN THE HIPHOP COMMUNITY. BUT, I
HAD TO DO WHAT MY HEART LEAD ME TO DO! TO LET YOU KNOW ALL THAT
SCREAMING, PREACHING, FIGHTING WASN'T IN VAIN! I'VE SEEN THE CHANGES
LITTLE BY LITTLE AND I'M VERY PROUD THAT WE AS A COMMUNITY ARE
FIGHTING FOR WHAT IS RIGHT FROM THE TRUE OLD SCHOOLERS TO THE NEW
KIDS! I LOVE IT, I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE KULTURE AND HOPFULLY THIS
FEELING WILL CONTINUE! WE NEED TO MAKE SURE NO ONE TAKES OUR DANCE
STYLES AND CONTROLS THEIR DESTINYS. WE MUST MAKE SURE THIS KULTURE IS
TAUGHT TO THE NEXT GENERATION AND ALL STYLES OF DANCING ARE
RESPECTED. WHETHER YOU’RE WITH FOUNDATION, ABSTRACT, LOCKING,
POPPING, OR HOUSE DANCING! ITS ALL DANCING THAT CAME FROM THE
GHETTOS AND FROM PEOPLE THAT WERE SUPPOSE TO BE NOTHING AND
PROVED THE WORLD WRONG! SO PLEASE DO YOUR THANG AND REPRESENT TO
THE FULLEST SOME WILL NOT RESPECT THAT BUT THE REAL HEADS SHOULD!
REMEMBER NO ACTIVITY WITHOUT ACHIEVEMENT! UNTIL MY LAST BREATH I
AM PROUD TO BE APART OF THE HIPHOP COMMUNITY AND KULTURE!
GOD BLESS ALL,

Why do you want to become a member?:
I want to be part of Odori 73 because they show nothing but respect and peace along with inspiration every
time I see their members either at practice or at jams and show a positive outlook for the Hiphop Kulture.
Message and Inspiration from Trixtah:
Hey everyone! So, I just spent a long busy, but great and fun week in Vegas. I had the pleasure to be a part of
Eric Floyds Old School Party, as well as Eric Floyds Diva Fever. This was an amazing event that happened at the
Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas.
I had the pleasure of meeting and performing with artist like: Wanda Dee & The KLF, Carol Douglas, Frenchie
Davis, Sister Sledge, Vanilla Ice, Rob Base, Kool Mo Dee, Shannon, Montell Jordan, Anita Ward, Full Force, Forces
MD, Forces United, and many more artists. There were over 20 artists, it was an unforgettable event.
I am waiting on the pictures to get uploaded, so for the next news letter I will have them up, but I wanted to
submit this, and say what an amazing experience it was to be in the same room as all those old school artists.
People I grew up on and I had the chance to be on stage with them. I remember when I started bboying it was to
Shannon’s "Let the music play" and then I had the chance to be on the same stage as her rocking out, it is
something I will never forget. I remember taking the bus to school and on the radio you hear Rob Base “It takes
Two" and I used to always jam, now I was on stage throwing down with them.
I am writing this because people need to know, the impact that dreams can have on people. If you follow them
and work hard for them the possibilities are endless. It wasn’t luck that I happened to be on stage with artists
who I grew up on, it was all hard work and dedication from practicing over the years, going to battles, cyphering,
networking, and love for what I do. I am a Bboy and always will be.
Quick little something that happened when Shannon first performed we had some dancers behind her doing
choreography, she told her manager she wanted bboys behind her! So, that's when I went out with her. And
they ALL paid a tribute to Michael Jackson which was amazing to see.
Well hope everyone is well and see you at the next event!
