3.EXPERIENCE*
Since T.S.C inception, in 2005, we have an encouraging number of firms, both large and small
within Mombasa and its environs. This is justified from our few but renowned institutions
that repeatedly request supplies and service provision.
v LPO’S and Contract of Services awarded are available on demand
4.Scope Of Works
Categories
A: As Suppliers Of Consumables
These are but not limited to Farm-Fresh produce, Poultry, Sea-foods, Manufactured
products, Hardware’s, Building Materials, .….
We request L.P.O.s where applicable
B: In Country Employer
Tusano Combined Supplies is not limited to deployment services only but a general supplier of
Services and Consumables. We have employed a number of youths in our sections of
Landscaping, Poultry rearing, Fruits and Vegetables farming and supplying, administration
and Logistics. This list is endless as we at times, and, depending on seasons get contracts e.g.
Events (which need organization, security and entertainment). Currently we have about 30
young men and women on contract basis working with us.

5.“We Believe”
We believe in giving back to the community, though we “never let the Right hand know what
the Left is up to”.. In line with our Ethics and good governance, we have enjoyed the best of
business atmosphere considering the diversity of cultures, tribes, religion and characters. We
have taken up initiatives and incentives by;
Philanthropy in Projects and assistance
• Providing borehole water to the inhabitants of Ndonya and Mtepeni area of
Mtwapa, this is done between 06hrs-08hrs every morning and 16hrs-18hrs every
evening. With a subsided cost of ksh 2/= for every 20litres of water, everyone can
afford to be clean and healthy without walking kilometers away for this basic
commodity. Even with power blackouts, we still do supply as we have reservoir tanks in
cases of emergencies.
• At the moment we are sponsoring 3 orphaned boys in Secondary education, Taita and
Mtwapa region. 8 children at the Foundation and Primary levels, born of jobless couple
sin Ndonya. In all this we do not expect returns but wish them all the best. 3 Girls are now
undergoing degree courses at Mount Kenya and Moi Universities respectively.
• In cases where the overseas employer does not cater for deployment costs, we select 2 out every
50 extremely needy candidates; cater for the flights and fees. At other times we loan funds
for fares and other fees for those who are stranded and wait for refunds once employment
commences. For every TwentyFive (25) Kenyan Youth, male or female, migrating for
employment, we identify Two (2) and cater for all expenses ie Passport procurement,
Medical fees, Flight costs etc. Usually they are youth whom we have interacted with for
periods of time especially in our area.
• In the Holy month of Ramadhan, we were privileged to cater for a feeding program for
fasting deprived Muslims for a number of days but the most joy was the upgrading of their
worship center with provision and installation of Air-conditioning Fans- 8 units, overall
Public Address system for their prayer calls/ preaching and repairs of their water piping
system.
• Festivities: Every festive season- Christmas and Eid ul Fitr, in conjunction with a
few friends, we donate clothing and foodstuffs to a selected home for the elderly and a
children home. We interact and dedicate a whole day for this regardless of religion, tribe or
region.
• Helping Hand In a very small magnitude and with our own written agreements, we do
help needy teenage single mothers to earn a living by supporting their already small

existing businesses. We take up risks while acting as their guarantors to lending
institutions. As we cannot take up the role of bankers due to our limited resources and
non- conversant with lending procedures and legalities, we do not advertise for these
services till we are stable and with professional advisers. The most we can support is
always not above Ksh 30,000/= and only one beneficiary every ONE MONTH.
• Vegetables and Poultry keeping: We have a designated portion of Land where we
encourage small farming of vegetables, Rabbit and Poultry rearing. We are also in the
process of Fish Farming both as ornamental and for comsumption. The employees are only
allowed to carry home what they consume at a time and “not for resale”. We sell the rest at
minimum cost to the Community around to supplement their daily food intake and
nutrition. Available food crops include, Amaranath (Terere or Mchicha), Kale (Sukuma
wiki), Mnavu and Mchunga (bitter leaves- a coastal delicacy), Lady Fingers (Okra or
Mabenda), Mkunde, Brinjoules, Spinach, Tomatoes etc. By using the ‘Drip System’ of
irrigation, we are assured of food all year round as we do not have to depend on
unpredictable rains. We are hoping to have enough funds to advance to the ‘Green house’
system. Tusano has also had the privilege to open up few positions in her small plot at
Ndonya- Mtwapa area of Kilifi, a poultry farm with minimal of 1900 chicks at any given
time; we are looking forward in future to also keep layers for eggs supply and employ more
youths. Currently we have employed 8 persons on casual basis as we also grow local
vegetables for locals’ consumption. Basic training has been offered by Kenya Training
College at KARI- Mtwapa.
• Shelters: Recently we have completed 3 Semi-Permanent 4 roomed houses for couples who
were in dire need. And to make sure of hygienic dwellings, we cement plaster the floors to
deter “Jiggers” and fleas. All these at our own cost and using locally available materials
and employing the youth around.
• Innovations: We mould our own blocks by providing Cement and Quarry dust. This is
done manually by the same young men who would be otherwise idling around and
entertaining negative thoughts and deeds. We pay each block at ksh 25/= no matter how
many.
