Tanaman secara fertigasi adalah kaedah penanaman yang menggabungkan sistem pengairan dengan pembajaan terus kepada akar tanaman menggunakan sistem drip. Penanaman secara fertigasi boleh dilaksanakan secara terbuka sama ada di atas tanah atau di tanaman di dalam polibeg atau di tanam di bawah sistem kalis serangga (atau rumah pelindung hujan). Bagaimanapun, penggunaan rumah kalis serangga di negara bercuaca panas adalah kurang praktikal dan mempunyai kos yang sangat tinggi. Jika menggunakan sistem fertigasi, kawalan pembajaan amat diperlukan. Pembajaan berlebihan akan menyebabkan EC terlalu tinggi dan tanaman akan menunjukkan simptom tidak sihat dan hasilnya kurang. Pembajaan berlebihan menyebabkan medium menjadi toksik dan menyebabkan sesetengah nutrien terikat atau immobile sekaligus menyebabkan pokok menunjukkan simptom kekurangan nutrien, menjadi kurang sihat dan mengurangkan hasil.
