1. Senior Low Level C Developer

Overview:
Would you like to exercise your top shelf C skills but not be burned out at work? Our client
is a well-established, debt free software product company that continues to grow
internationally - this is a fairly flat organization where your hard work gets appreciated and
you get the freedom to push the boundaries of your C skills in the implementation of other
languages and the extension of web frameworks.
What you need to have:
Expertise developing in a Linux environment
Great depth and expertise with C - can provide at least 2-3 ways of doing something
in C
Proven track record of using C in different ways - extending frameworks, writing
language extensions, extending Apache, etc.
Strong software engineering skills - from design to development
It would be nice if you also had:
Experience in Windows environments also
Interest in Web servers - innovations, developments, latest and greatest
technologies
What you will be doing:
Stay on top of web and application server advances
Writing low level code to hook and pull performance data from application technology
stacks (i.e. LAMP)
Keep your code small and tight - using as little memory, network, and processor
utilization
Using proper engineering practices to make sure your code is robust, bulletproof and
well designed
