Role expectations:
 Technical activities carried out by Happiest Minds can be largely put into following categories
 Software Development
 Software Testing
 Infrastructure management
 We use a wide range of technology, tools and methodology to execute our projects
 The Job Descriptions detailed in the subsequent slides provide a generic description of activities
carried out by out technical team members in different Business units and Center of Excellence
 All our technical members are expected to carry out any role or activity assigned to them to
ensure success of our customer goals
 We will not be able to determine or commit a particular job profile/technology for a candidate at
the time of selection.
 All selected candidates will go through several weeks to training and assessment of their
capabilities and aptitude
 Allocation of technology/Business unit will be done during the process of training.

Role expectations:
 Working on Infrastructure Technology Domains
 Domains include
o Infrastructure Technologies – Cloud, Network, DC, Database, ITSM, Compute
o DevOps and CloudOps
o Security – Cyber Security, Identity Access Management, Governance Risk & Compliance, Vulnerability and Penetration testing
o Digital Process Automation
 Monitoring, incident and request analysis
 SOP driven Tasks and basic knowledge driven troubleshooting and resolution
 Escalation to next level by adhering to timelines, processes and SLAs
 Upgrade the skills and knowledge based on technology evolution
 Handling and working with Global customers and Team Members

o Communicates orally and in writing in a clear, concise, and impartial manner.

Role expectations:
 Develop and designs software programs and products. Participates in technical design of software sub-systems or
components.
 Maintain existing codebase by defect fixing and feature enhancement
 Write Code for the assigned unit of work as per specification/ticket description within the defined estimate/SLA with
adequate code level comments.
 Execute Unit Tests/System Test for software modules.
 Fix and retest the defects raised by the QA and work with QA closely to get the defects closed.
 Document the coding approach/solution, common ticket resolution descriptions etc.
 Follow SDLC processes.

driving the teams in the same direction

 Understand business requirements and technical design of the software system/sub system under test.
 Participate in requirements understanding sessions and seek to clarify on understanding from a QA POV
 Ensure participation and adherence to the test plan/test automation framework/performance planning processes, follow
the plan/guideline/framework for the rest of the STLC
 Documentation of test cases, test reports, automation framework guidelines, checklists, as agreed in project
 Build Automation scripts adhering to coding guidelines and manage scripts as per agreed CM, Test Automation, Build and
Deployment processes
 Communication
