The Man of the Helm
Mr. K.P. Vijayakumar B.E., M.B.A., M.Phil., M.I.C.S. (UK), C. Eng., FIV.,
started his carrier as a Marine Engineer served on Board ships upto 1999.
With his ability, hard work and experience, he steered the organization to
establish in various business activities, since 2000, viz. Ship, Marine Cargo
Survey, Port Management, Container Freight Station (CFS) Management,
Ship Sales & Purchase Consultancy Services (S&P), Marine Asset & Ship
Valuation, Chartered Engineer Valuation for Indian Customs, Ship Repair,
Subsea Engineering Project Management, Underwater (Diving) Services,
Open Storage / Empty Container Yard, Bio Farming, Ocean Engineering
Research & Innovation and Trading of Kitec Composite Pipes (CPS
Plumbing).
4. ACHIEVEMENTS
More than 200 Under water Videography Inspection in lieu of dry docking under various
Classification of Society.
Rescue Operation at decommissioned submarine INS Vagli at Chennai Port: Our team
successfully entered into confined space filled with poisonous gas and saved a trapped
man alive.
Permanent insert on Ship’s Hull using “COFFERDAM” Technology without Dry Docking.
Underwater Cable Laying and Burying for 200m from Shore 1 meter below the sea bed.
Retrieval of ships Anchor with 300 meters of chain and re-fixing back to the ship without
the assistance of external crane at Chennai Port after Tsunami.
Using “DIAMOND CHAIN SAWING TECHNOLOGY” a damaged pile under the wharf of
1300mm diameter with steel liner of 10mm thick around 7 meter length of weight 22MT,
at a depth of 12 meter was sliced at sea bed level and removed as a single piece.
Sinking, Live tracking and positioning of Intake / Outfall HDPE Pipe line of 1600 / 750MM
Dia and 1050 /1200 Meters Length for Metro water – Va Tech Wabag, 100 MLD
Desalination plant at Nemili, Chennai.More than 5000 Chartered Engineer Valuation

OFF SHORE SERVICES
Off shore diving is a branch of commercial diving. The work in this area of the
industry typically revolves around the maintenance of Offshore platforms,
building of underwater structures used in the production process, installation,
NDT survey, CCTV inspection & survey, general inspection, etc.

11. MARINE SALVAGE
Marine salvage is the process of recovering a ship, its cargo, or other property
after a shipwreck or other maritime casualty. Salvage may encompass towing,
re-floating a sunken or grounded vessel, or patching or repairing a ship. Today,
protecting the environment from cargoes such as oil or other contaminants is
often considered a high priority.
