understand, and analyze financial statements.
Strategic Management
Highlighted the principal forces shaping the global business environment: governmental policies
and programs: social and cultural change; and the structure, evolution, and fluctuations of the
economy.
Managerial Economics and Globalization
Applies relevant economic theory to develop a framework of analysis and techniques that
business managers can use in deciding how to allocate a firm's scarce resources to achieve its
objectives. Uses economic analysis to support business strategy decisions, that promote
competitiveness in an environment of changing domestic and international market conditions.
Contemporary Issues in Education
Examines theories, research and practices related to critical issues faced by educators today.
Discusses contemporary concerns in American and global education, as well as national and
local initiatives ineducation, the evolving relationship between schools and global communities.
Leadership In Global Education
Analyzes theoretical processes and practices of globalization and their global implications for
leadership in education. Emphasis is placed upon international curriculum, global issues in
education, strategies to promote globalization, international and global regulation of education.
Kennedy Center Education Programs
The Partners in Education program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is
designed to assist arts organizations throughout the nation to develop or expand educational
partnerships with their local school systems. The Kennedy Center's extensive experience with its
local professional learning program, established in 1976, provides the basis for this national
program.
