Mr. Ong Yong Jie Nigel Jude, has been a part-time tutor at Lewin Education Centre
since 12th June 2013. Mr. Ong has been in charge of the teaching of Science
classes to the upper primary classes. He also conducted Oral Skills Training for all
the primary levels during the school holidays in June.
Mr. Ong has established a learning community with students at Lewin Education.
He is by no means, aptly described as the students’ leader. He is creative in his
approach to keep his students engaged and motivated. He activates young creative
minds to work and rework ideas old and new, especially during Science
experiments. Mr. Ong gives the students a high degree of ownership of the lessons,
while balancing questioning in classrooms management. He delivers praises to his
students but discipline is still maintained in his classes.
Mr. Ong has a high sense of punctuality, translating it into a high level of
responsibility towards his classes and students. He is prompt in his attendance and
dedicated in his teaching.
Mr. Ong is dedicated in his duties as a tutor and a mentor to his students. Among
colleagues, he is well-liked and maintains a calm and purposeful working
atmosphere in the office. Lewin Education is extremely satisfied with Mr. Ong’s
performance in the organisation.
