Consonants:
Consonant sounds are mostly articulated via obstruction in vocal tract.
There are 24 consonant sounds in English.
For complete study of consonants, we focus on three features;
1. Voiced and voiceless distinction (voiced consonants are produced with vibration
in vocal folds/ voiceless consonants are produces without vibration in vocal folds)
2. The place of articulation (from where sound produce)
3. Manner of articulation (how sounds are pronounced)
