Title
 The title I have chosen for my
horror trailer is ‘The deal
unsealed”. the reason why I chose
this title is because it relates
closely to the context of my horror
trailer. Referring to the deal with
devil has been broken.

subgenre
 The subgenre I have chosen is supernatural/psychological
horror. Employing this genre into my horror movie, I will aim to
create discomfort by exposing common universal psychological
emotional vulnerabilities and fears. This sub-genre includes
ghosts, demons, or other depictions of supernatural
occurrences. Often, Supernatural-Horror films combine
elements of religion into the plot. Common themes in
Supernatural-Horror films include the afterlife, the devil, and
demonic possession.
 Example – The Excorcist, the Ring, the Omen

The Antagonist
 The antagonist is a young female adult how is battling her inner
demons when the deal with devil is broken. She is consider the
‘Final Girl’ as she is the last woman alive to confront the
danger. She has similar characteristic to females in other horror
stories.
 - Sexually unavailable, avoiding vices of the victim (sex,illegal
drug use, hedoristic lifestyle, unisex names)
 She also becomes masculinized through phallic appropriation
by taking a weapon.

The protagonist
 The voodoo man. He preys on young female virgin
adolescence and sells their souls to the devil to have eternal
youth and a beauty. The deal with devil broken and he begins
to the roam the earth through the young girl

My influence
 I was deeply influence by the episode of American Horror
Story; The coven. As it featured demonic possession and
witchcraft.
 I was also influenced by the movie Jennifer's body, which also
features demonic deals and possessions
