ALPMA’s well-respected and popular practice management seminars enhance the skills and professional
knowledge of managers and lawyers with management and leadership responsibility within law firms and
legal departments – and provide a great forum for networking amongst our close-knit community.
ALPMA Corporate Partners are the only vendors able to attend our Practice Management seminars.
The seminars cover topical subjects, spanning ALPMA’s Learning & Development Framework, and
are presented by dynamic speakers with deep subject matter expertise and extensive legal industry
experience. Typically attracting between 30 and 100 attendees (depending on topic and location), seminars
usually run for 1.5 hours at lunch-time, commencing with networking and refreshments followed by the

Partner Code of Conduct and the Annual PartnershipTerms & Conditions (“Documents”) govern the
relationship between ALPMA and the Applicant.

Partner Code of Conduct
Integrity
ALPMA Partners are expected to promulgate the highest standards of
ethical behaviour both within their employer businesses, and the wider
business community generally. Partners must comply with all laws
and regulations and must not infringe ALPMA’s trademarks and other
intellectual property rights.
Confidentiality
Partners will not disclose any confidential information acquired in
the course of ALPMA events, whether or not still employed by their
organisation, except when legally obliged to do so.
Respect for Member Privacy
Partners are welcome to interact appropriately and professionally with
attendees at an ALPMA event and build business relationships with
attendees over time. Any information about attendees provided on
ALPMA registration lists or gathered by partner representatives at ALPMA
functions must not to be added to partner mailing lists, unless consent
has been provided by the attendee. Partners must comply with any
applicable privacy legislation in relation to the personal information it
collects and holds.
Honesty
Partners must not make any false representations in connection with
any dealings with ALPMA or its members including, but not limited
to, misrepresentations of facts associated with their products or
the promotion or utilization of false documentation such as false or
inaccurate records.
Monitoring and Compliance
If a partner becomes aware of a breach, or a suspected breach of this
Code of Conduct, it must notify ALPMA immediately. ALPMA may also
audit compliance with this Code or appoint a third party to conduct
an audit. Members may report any unethical practices or inappropriate
behaviour by a Partner to the relevant Branch Committee or Board for
investigation and resolution.
Any violations will be reported by ALPMA to the Partner’s management
for their attention and, if appropriate, corrective action. ALPMA may then
take any action it deems appropriate, including working with the partner
to rectify the breach, suspend or terminate the applicable Partnership
Agreement.
We are committed to ensuring that partnering with ALPMA is a mutually beneficial experience for our partners, members and our respective organ-
isations. ALPMA’s Partner Code of Conduct is intended to conserve and enhance the integrity of business relationships developed through contact
with ALPMA members, to protect member confidentiality and respect member privacy. Accordingly, ALPMA requires its partners to comply with the
principles set out in this Code of Conduct. Members also agree to a Code of Conduct.

Application Terms & Conditions
1. The Australasian Legal Practice Management Association Limited
(‘the Association’) reserves the right to accept or reject any offer of
partnership. In determining partnership offers the following terms
and conditions will apply to each partnership application submitted
by an Applicant:
1.1 The Association has a policy not to grant exclusivity to any
particular partner for any product/service category or industry.
We see it as beneficial to the members of the Association to have
the opportunity to compare products and services available in
the legal industry services market. In some cases, undertakings
may be given not to allow direct competitors to co-partner
events.
1.2 Decisions of the Association’s Board in regard to allocation of all
partnership opportunities will be final and no correspondence
will be entered into with unsuccessful Applicants.
1.3 The entitlements set out under each of the partnership benefits
are detailed in the prospectus to which these terms are annexed
and constitute the total commitment by the Association to
partners, advertisers and exhibitors. Any additional requirements
may incur additional charges. Partnerships are not transferrable.
2. All prices are quoted inclusive of GST (unless otherwise stated).
The Association is registered for GST purposes.
3. The Partnership Prospectus is valid for the 2016/2017 financial
year. The 2016/2017 Partner Prospectus will be released week
commencing 9 February 2016 and applications for specific
partnership opportunities can be lodged with the Association from
this date onwards. The Association will accept first round applications
from the date of the release of the prospectus until 29 April 2016.
Applicants will be advised as to whether their applications have been
accepted or declined within 14 days of the advertised closing date.
4. The Association reserves the right to seek partners for any
opportunities remaining or arising after 29 April 2016 and these will
then be sold on a first in basis.
