World AI Show ended on a high note
with ‘UTU Technologies’ winning the
Startup World Cup regional finale pitch
competition powered by Fenox Venture
Capital, which featured more than 15
startups showcasing their ideas and
innovations in front of global investors
including VCs, angel investors and key
government authorities.

5. Alfred Ongere delivered the opening keynote on
the importance of ethics and algorithmic bias for
businesses building and using AI.
Ongere’s interesting presentation threw light on
how computer systems reflect implicit values of its
human designers in its behaviour, leading to false
categorizations.

The focus of the discussion was on the use of AI as a
means to bridge the digital divide and improve customer
interaction for enterprises.
Georgina briefly elucidated how AI and ML can help with
