HUNTER HARVEY, PITCHER, SINGLE-A DELMARVA
Although Harvey’s first full minor league season was cut short by injury, his performance
when healthy was nothing short of impressive. He finished 2014 with a 7-5 record, a 3.18
ERA, 106 strikeouts and an elite-level 10.9 K/9 ratio.
MIKE YASTRZEMSKI, CENTERFIELDER, DOUBLE-A BOWIE
“Yaz” lived up to his family name in 2014 by tearing it up offensively at both Delmarva
and Frederick before receiving a late-season promotion to Bowie. He displayed his
potentially elite five-tool skill set consistently and posted a .288 batting average, a .836
OPS, 34 doubles, 16 triples, 14 home runs, 75 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.
CHRISTIAN WALKER, FIRST BASEMAN, TRIPLE-A NORFOLK
Walker capped off his breakout 2014 campaign by receiving a promotion from Bowie to
Norfolk after the All-Star break. Between both the Double-A and Triple-A levels this
season, he hit a combined .288 with a .846 OPS, 25 doubles, 26 home runs and 96 RBIs.
CHANCE SISCO, CATCHER, SINGLE-A DELMARVA
Sisco made a name for himself in his first full minor league season by displaying the
offensive skillset that made him the Orioles’ second round pick in 2013. He led the South
Atlantic League in both batting average (.340) and OBP (.406) while adding 27 doubles,
five home runs and 63 RBIs.
STEVEN BRAULT, PITCHER, SINGLE-A ADVANCED FREDERICK
Brault’s strong performance in 2014 earned him both a late-season promotion to
Frederick and mentioning among the Orioles’ elite pitching prospects. He dominated
2. across both Class A levels and finished with an 11-8 record, a 2.77 ERA and an
impressive 4.13 strikeout-to-walk ratio this past season.
