1) Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) and repeated implantation failure (RIF) can be caused by thrombophilia including antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).
2) Low molecular weight heparin (LMWH) like enoxaparin improves pregnancy outcomes in RPL/APS through both antithrombotic and non-thrombotic mechanisms such as inhibiting antibodies and modulating trophoblast invasion.
3) LMWH is recommended for treatment and prevention of complications in RPL/APS, inherited thrombophilia with pregnancy loss, and during ART for patients with RIF or thrombophilia.
