Re-conceptualizing Nabulsi soap industry through
revitalizing The two abandoned factories of Touqan-
Sehani and Ya'eesh in Al Qaryoun quarter, creating a
dynamic urban node that holds a vision of the type of
contemporary architecture in this complex fabric .

This project took inspiration from the Sufism
understanding of spirituality, its hierarchy of different
levels that makes it both powerful and influential, yet
stressing on the journey that one takes through these
levels to reach the divine. It also search for the
monumentally of the void, beleving that in today’s modern
city that is overloaded with sparkly buildings, void, silence

This Project seeks to Analysis and use the concept of
agricultural collaborative community , in doing so the
project adopted the notion of Agro-Tourism where this
piece of land is transformed into a place where
manufacturing, educational, agricultural, animal caring, and
entertainment activities act as a whole; The architecture
adoptive primitive forms using mud as the building material
in an attempt to stay truthful to the place .

The research center is part of the agricultural
collaborative community, it seeks to elevate traditional
building techniques, elements and materials to create
creative environment that encouraged scientific innovation
, huge wood Mashrabieh like panels covered a curved path
inside the space, this in addition to filtering light provided
much needed air circulation in this arid hot location .

instead of the elitist approach, this opera house welcomes
the public to walk over , around and through it ; and see
through the building and wetness the social events

Instead of another huge isolated block, this school tempt to
involve visitors by using it’s walkable roof to enjoy the
magnificent surrounding, then into the grant glass library,
and ending their journey in the school gallery
The wooden-lovers patterned elevations and entrance , are
to create a game of shadow and light , to provide a unique
spatial experience for the student ; who enjoy a Varity of
classes , laboratories and an auditorium.

Based on the principles of landscape urbanism, and the
local needs , this complex was developed as one unit
created by linear elements in which its movement created
the main dorms building, the motel, the hanged library and
the public auditorium , forming a multi functioned central
space
