• Learn how we can contribute to cleaning up the environment.
• Make a clean campaign with your friends in college.

At this workshop we will:
• Most littering the college with is reusable or recyclable and doesn't
need to end up in a landfill. Put your litter into the recycling bins.
4. The Recycling process
Date: Friday 30. November
Time: 10 am - 4pm
Location: Al Quwayiyah Girl’s college room B501. .
Waste materials are collected through drop-off centers, curbside collection, deposit
or refund programs. The waste materials are then transported to a materials
recovery facility or recycling centers where they are sorted out, cleaned and
processed into ideal materials for manufacturing. The recyclable waste materials can
be bought and sold the same way raw material would be.

6. Pest control tips
Date: Friday 14 October
Time: 10 am - 4pm
Location: Al Quwayiyah Girl’s college room B501.
• Seal cracks and holes on the outside of the home including entry points for
utilities and pipes.
• Keep tree branches and shrubbery well trimmed and away from the house.
• Keep basements, attics, and crawl spaces well ventilated and dry.
• Store garbage in sealed containers and dispose of it regularly.
• Repair fascia and rotted roof shingles; some insects are drawn to deteriorating
wood.
7. The Effects of Littering on the Environment & Animals
Date: Friday 9. December
Time: 10 am - 4pm
Location: Al Quwayiyah Girl’s college room B501.
Discarding plastic products, including grocery sacks, rapidly fills up landfills and
often clog drains.
Water Pollution:
Litter in Earth's water supply from consumer and commercial use creates a toxic
environment.
Jars and Bottles:
Discarded jars and bottles usually do not biodegrade naturally and add to
humanity's mounting litter problem.
