An urgent inquiry seeking the delivery
of a consignment of “go now” oil and gas
equipment from the UK to Azerbaijan
received an instant response from

The former Soviet republic is becoming
one of the world’s leading suppliers
of hydrocarbons with major UK
involvement in developing its oil and gas fields. We were able to have an AN12 flight operational within 24 hours of receiving
the order to fly out vital supplies.

CASE STUDY
In 2012 chartersphere helped make
international headlines when we completed one of our more unusual airlifts bringing in 2,400 head of cattle to a new $18m state- backed ranch in the Voronezh region of southern Russia.
The vast farm was set up by a beef herder
in a bid to improve the quality of meat in
the booming Russian domestic food market.
Our brokers arranged six back-to-back flights using a jumbo jet B747-400F to transport 400 cattle at a time from the United States to Russia.
The operation was completed successfully over two months of the Russian winter.

Our global network of partners provides us with unique access to a fleet of helicopters which are available for passenger and cargo lease anywhere in the world.
chartersphere can offer clients use of
twin-turbine utility transport MI-8T aircraft as well as the military-standard MI-8MTV and Bell 412 four blade helicopters.
We currently have one MI-8T passenger
helicopter available for charter in
Afghanistan. In addition to chartering
aircraft we can also arrange short and long term leases on ACMI basis.

Our client’s last-minute need to move
a fleet of trucks from the European Union
to the Kenyan capital of Nairobi required
an urgent response from our team.
We were able to deploy a stage-four
noise compliant Russian Ilyushin IL-76
within hours.
The veteran strategic airlifter was
touching down in east Africa that day
whilst the trucks were fully operational
within 48 hours, ensuring our client was

We have been heavily involved in
supporting the Allied military operations
in Afghanistan and before that in Iraq.
At chartersphere we have a highly
successful agreement acting as GSA
on behalf of Veteran Airlines. Over the
past 24 months we have moved thousands of tonnes of cargo on hundreds of flights within the Middle East utilising our partner’s IL-76 aircraft.

Last year chartersphere operated
hundreds of flights on behalf of
peace-keeping forces into and out
of Afghanistan.
In one operation we moved more than 1,200 tonnes of cargo in a series of 50 flights into Kabul bringing much
needed military supplies, vehicles, food and spare parts from Europe to serving frontline troops at a critical moment in the military operation.
Often delivering multiple flights per
day, we were able to airlift up to 35 tonnes at a time on behalf of leading
defence clients providing them with
