Choose Things of Value: How Great Is Honesty?
No one is perfect. We each make mistakes that help us learn, grow,
become more humble, and draw closer to Jesus as a result. So be honest,
and discover the happiness and freedom that comes with being honest.
I would rather not tell my parents or teachers
when I have done something I shouldn't,
because I'll most likely get into trouble.

What the Bible says: Better is a poor
person who walks in his integrity
than one who is crooked in speech
and is a fool. Proverbs 19:1 (ESV)
Being honest, even when it means admitting to a mistake or
something you did that was wrong, is good for you. When you
confess your faults and are open and honest, it's humbling, but
that makes you more like Jesus!
