MWANANAWE Aimable has Strong experience to work with NGOs by implementing interventions in the context
of Poverty Alleviation, Gender Equality, Nutrition, GBV, HIV, Education, Environment , Peace Building ,Health
Promotion, accountability, Advocacy and Networking in order to improve lives of beneficiaries at individual, family
and, community levels for sustainable social economic development with Human Right based approach.
Mwananawe Aimable is also National Coordinator of IMRO, under his responsibility is overseeing the coordination,
implementation and Evaluation of different projects funded by different Partners like FHI360/USAID Roads
Projects targeting FSWs &MSM, IREX/USAID, UNICEF targeting Young FSWs, Global Fund
R6,R7,NSA,CNLS/UNFPA, those projects are oriented in HIV Prevention, Impact mitigation Care &treatment,
Impact mitigation and advocacy targeting general population especially MARPs/Key Populations, Vulnerable
Groups and others.
Mwananawe contributed to the Regional Strategic Plan of Easter African Network of National Network of Services
Organizations (EANNASO). He is also the Country focal point of PTAP project PTAP (Prevention, Care and
Treatment alignment Project) implemented by NGO Forum and supported by International Council of AIDS
Services Organizations (ICASO)/AFRICASO (African Council of AIDS Services Organizations) .
Mwananawe Aimable has published different abstracts and articles at National and International Level. Mwananawe Aimable
participated at different National and International Taskforce and High Level Meeting, Implementers meeting,
ICASSA where discussion of HIV prevention was shared, such as:
