Alternative of Pixel 
 
The aim of this article is to propose a noble idea for alternative technique of Pixel. I was thinking of a 
new and better way to get objects from image. But, the way we divide the screen with same size small 
block, where each of these called a pixel, it becomes hard to get objects from the screen. I am proposing 
a new and innovative technique which will help us to find objects and other useful and logical data from 
the screen easily. The technique is to use same or different sized curved lines.  It could be vertically or 
horizontally orientated. 
 
The idea of pixel was good as long as we want to visually represent the data. Pixel is an excellent idea for 
visual representation. That is why, it is getting used by huge number of companies. But, as the nature of 
people’s interest is changing, we need to think of something new which will help us find meaningful data 
from the screen very easily. Using pixel, we have to do many calculations to get the objects and other 
logical information from image. 
 
Because of curved line, we will get the adjacent area’s information without calculating gradient of the 
whole image. It will also help us to clustering the data. We try to use rectangular area as we are using 
pixel. But, that is not natural. The screen data is curvier than rectangular in real world. Our inclination to 
stay  with  linear  rectangular  area  is  causing  more  calculations  to  find  natural  object  and  logical 
information, where these types of information consist of non linear shape. That is why, we have to come 
out of our interest to use pixel, especially, when we want logical information from screen data. More 
research could be done to get the proper size of the lines in different types of applications. This is just an 
initial proposal of my innovative mind to appropriate scholars to think about it. 
 
I do not understand why we want to stay with pixel, as it gives very less information about adjacent 
areas and it is always same sized. For this reason, we are restricting ourselves to linear world, but the 
real world is non linear and for that reason, non linear technique will always win the race as that is 
favored by nature. 
 
Now, what will be the nature and characteristics of the curve, that we have to understand by doing 
some research on it. Curve could be same natured or different natured. That means, every line could 
have same curved shape or different curved shape. Also, we need to do analysis to understand, if same 
natured curve will better then different shaped curve. 
We  also  have  to  analyze  the  length  of  the  lines.  Different  length  lines  will  be  useful  in  different 
situations. In different types of applications, we can choose appropriate curve shape and line length. 
Hardware companies related to visual and logical representation will have some problem initially. But, 
that could be resolved by discussion and proper analysis, after that we can create some standard for 
hardware industry.
