Antonio Nadal SA was founded in 1898 on the island of Mallorca, Spain by Antonio Nadal Muntaner who began distilling alcohol. In 1907, the company launched its signature herbal liqueur Túnel de Mallorca to celebrate the opening of a railway tunnel. In 1986, the Morey-Garau family acquired the company and expanded its brand portfolio. Antonio Nadal SA has since grown to invoice over €28 million annually and exports brands such as Rushkinoff vodka and Captain Huk rum to markets in Europe and Asia. The company is exploring opportunities to introduce Rushkinoff vodka to the Thai market through major retail chains.

4. 1907
The idea of having a train linking the isolated
village of Sóller with Palma comes to light and
work starts that year to build the “Tren de Soller”.
The main attraction of the route is the 3 km long
tunnel joining Sóller with Bunyola. Antonio Nadal
Muntaner, being a great admirer of the project,
chooses the brand “Túnel” for his products, thus
celebrating the opening of the railway route next to
the distillery.

6. 1986
The Morey-Garau family becomes owner of Antonio Nadal. The new
owners bring a whole new approach to the company and its brands.
Túnel de Mallorca is, and has been for a long time, the Nº 1 herbal
drink in the Balearic islands– not only is the best known but also the
most consumed. Túnel de Mallorca exports to various European
markets.

To celebrate its Centenary, the company moves to its new
