3. Introduction
• Vehicle theft protection through GPS and GSM technology
involves the use of tracking systems to prevent and recover stolen
vehicles.
• Here's a list of key points:
• GPS Tracking: Utilizes Global Positioning System technology to
pinpoint the exact location of the vehicle in real-time.
• GSM Communication: Utilizes Global System for Mobile
Communication to transmit location data and alerts to a remote
server or designated authorities.
• Real-time Monitoring: Allows owners to track their vehicles'
whereabouts through a smartphone app or web interface.
4. Why we need vehicle theft protection:
• 1) Rising Vehicle Theft Rates
• 2)Advanced Technology
• 3) Remote Accessibility
• 4) Integration with Smart
Technology
• 5) Integration with Smart
Technology
• 6) Global Coverage
• 7) Environmental Concerns
• 8) User-Friendly
6. Operation :
GPS is used to create the majority of
tracking systems. This is really easy
and affordable.
Fleet managers utilize tracking
systems primarily to monitor a
vehicle's position, route, and other
information.
This is a highly effective way to
keep our cars from being stolen.
This tracking technology provides us
the geographic coordinates, which
we may use to monitor the location
of our car on digital maps through
the internet.
These tracking technologies allow
us to exchange real-time
7. Operation:
• Using a GPS module, we must locate the vehicle's coordinates in
order to track it.
• The GPS module connects with the satellite continually to get
coordinates.
• we must communicate this GPS coordinates to our Arduino. Arduino
then extracts the necessary information from GPS-received data.
• Prior to doing this, Arduino instructs Wi-Fi Module to configure and
connect to the router and get the IP address. Following that, the LCD
displays a "Page Refresh message" and Arduino starts the GPS to
get coordinates.
• Thus, the user must reload the page. As a user refreshes the website,
Arduino obtains the GPS coordinates and transmits them, along with
some other data and a link to Google Maps, to the webpage (local
server).
• The user is now sent to Google Maps with the coordinates after
clicking this link, whereupon he or she finds the vehicle's current
location at the Red area on the map.
10. GOALS TO ACHEIVE :
• The primary goal of this project is to
design and create a tool that will deter
car theft. This project contains research
and analysis on how the GSM modem
and GPS receiver function. The goals of
this project are to:
• Analyze how web-based applications
function depending on user requirements
• To create a GPS and GSM modem-
based car tracking anti-theft security
system that can be utilized to stop
vehicle theft.
• To create a car anti-theft security system
