EXPLORE JAIPUR
Project Report
PROJECT MANAGER-
MUDIT SAHAI
PROJECT BRIEF
 AIESEC'ers as leaders of tomorrow have always taken up issues that are
important for the betterment of society. "Cultural Understanding" is one
of the several values we strive to inculcate in our day to day lives.
Looking at the dismal state of our mind that we are engaged in fighting
with each other on petty issues on basis of caste and creed, it is
important that we realize the importance of a global cultural
understanding.
 Explore Jaipur was an initiative by AIESEC JAIPUR to showcase the
beauty and uniqueness of JAIPUR “PINK CITY” to the outer world. The
interns explored all the important historical aspects of the city within the
span of 6 weeks. Various famous things like BLUE POTTERY, SANGANERI
PRINT TEXTILE and JAIPUR FOOT was also visited by them emphasizing
the impact of JAIPUR at international market.
 During the project interns also got to know about the rich cultural
heritage of INDIA and it’s impact on the outer world.

international interns present in JAIPUR and some from other LC’s at that time . Connect
2014 was an initiative by AIESEC in JAIPUR to bring together all the interns in Jaipur and
give them a intense cross-cultural experience.
 It was organised on 8th
and 9th
august. A few sessions regarding relevance of AIESEC in
today’s world as well as project quality were also delivered.
Here is what some of the intern has to say-
ANNA(from Kazakhstan)
I'm Anna, I come from Astana, Kazakhstan, and I'm here with the project
Explore Jaipur. :)
I'm one of those crazy people who risked coming to India but it appeared to be
even better than I expected.
I've come here for a life changing experience and I've got what I wanted.
Adventures, challenges and the most positive feelings!
We're here to get acquainted with the culture of the city exploring its main
historical monuments and all beautiful places, lifestyle and activities and
people themselves. Witnessing it, filming it and experiencing it is the best
thing!
The internship is going great, and AIESEC Jaipur provides us all necessary help
and support. We're growing personally and professionally, and it's really nice
to feel the change. I've got used to many unusual cultural peculiarities and
learned how to survive in hectic Jaipur.
The city looks stunning with its juicy colors and sounds. The atmosphere is
vibrant and spiritual at the same time. People are surprisingly curious but
really nice.
It's a great challenge to get accustomed to a completely different culture and
language, and India is the best choice to experience it. Every day is an
adventure, every day you learn something new. This is also a wonderful
opportunity to make friends with new people and learn their cultures.
I feel like a member of a big international family here and it's wonderful to see
the difference in an open-minded way.
If you ever consider coming here, don't hesitate to try! You will never regret as
any bittersweet experience here is worth it.
SINEM (from TURKEY)
My first day in India was July2nd. I arrived Jaipur and there was a member of
AIESEC waiting for me at the airport. He showed me the intern house and he
told me about general things and he left. Before my arrival they were always
checking me about my flights. House was so clean every room had a seperate
bathroom and I was sharing my room with only 2 more people. For a couple of
days we didnt start the project but we had a meeting with aiesecers which was
so helpful for us to adjust India easily.
Our project started in our second week. We visited all the historical places with
the members of our LC. They were so helpful , they helped us to explore new
places and for communicating with local people. And also beside our project
they helped us to know basic points about the daily life in india.
We had some issues in our project like missing schedules or wrong timing but
they didnt effect my motivation about this project.
In General , Every member and EB were so helpful and kind in LC Jaipur but
especially responsibles of our Project Arun, Aman and Mudit helped a lot and
they have a huge contribution to me to have a really nice summer in India.
