Valotech228 Close Corporation was established in 2011 with the
emphasis and focus on the railway environment market.We pride
ourselves in being a 100% black Woman-owned business, managed
by highly qualified professionals who are offering diverse services of
Railway Signaling, RailwayTrack, Quality Management in Projects (ISO
10006), General Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with specific
emphasis on a meaningful business transformation.
Valotech228 has formed a strategic partnership with local academic
institutions (i.e. Mangosuthu University ofTechnology andTshwane
South FET College-Pretoria West Campus) to bring a meaningful value
to the economy of South Africa through in-service training and skills
transfer process.
We are level 1 BEE and proud members of the South African Railroad
Association.

company which was founded in 2011 by Ms Dorothy Dolly Fatima
Mofomme with the idea of tapping and grasping the opportunities
in the railway market.The idea was firstly triggered by innovation
and secondly prompted by the fact that there are less previously
disadvantage individuals (women) in the railway market.This
entrepreneurial activity that Ms Mofomme has undertaken will
maximise local content which will have a significant impact on the
South African economy as a whole.The entrepreneurial activity and
initiative is supported by fact that she has an extensive experience
and tacit knowledge obtained during her times of services with
various State-Owned and Private Enterprises holding various
technical and managerial positions.
