SCHOOL-TO-WORK TRANSITION
Monika Rudecka
EVERY DAY YOU MAKE THOUSANDS OF DECISIONS…IN FACT AS MANY AS 35 000.
SO, YOU’ve GRADUATED YOUR UNIVERSITY…
YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN TOMORROW.
YOUR LIFE IS LIKE A FOG.
YOU CAN SEE IT FOR A SHORT TIME,
BUT THEN IT GOES AWAY…
A FOGGY DAY IN POZNAO TOWN…
SO LUCKY WAS I TO FIND MY INTERVIEWERS
KRZYŚ
25 YEARS OLD
YEAR OF GRADUATION: 2012
MASTER IN ECONOMICS
AT THE AGE OF 24 YEARS
PAWEŁ
48 YEARS OLD
YEAR OF GRADUATION: 1989
MASTER IN MATHEMATICS
AT THE AGE OF 24 YEARS
CLOSE YOUR EYES…
AND REMIND YOURSELF OF YOUR SCHOOL-TO-WORK-TRANSITION…
KRZYŚ
He is a consultant
EMPATHIZE MODE ON…
SAY THINK
DO FEEL
,,I wanted that job”
,,It was hard to stay calm during my job interview”
,,They asked very bizarre questions”
,,What shuld I do?” ,,Hello! I am HERE! ”
,,I don’t know how to solve this problem. Help
me? Any volunteers?”
,,I need some instructions”
,,I don’ know if it is a good place for me”
,,Am I well prepared?”
,,Too much stress”
2012
,,I didn’t have an opportunity to present my skills”
,,Give up? ”
MY INSIGHT
Krzyś is an intelligent, creative and ambitious young
person. He usually doesn’t have an opportunity
to show his stuff and impress the others.
He feels an overwhelming sense of duties very oft.
Krzyś doesn’t know how to cope with stress.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
KRZYŚ NEEDS A WAY TO HANDLE WITH STRESS BECAUSE HE WASTES HIS UNIQUE SKILLS
PAWEŁ
He is a teacher
EMPATHIZE MODE ON…
SAY THINK
DO FEEL
,,I knew that everything’s will be fine”
,,It was my dream job”
,,The job interview wasn’t complicated”
,,I have to earn money for my family”
,,Why my coworkers don’t want to talk with me?
Is it hard to return the greeting or say HI ? ”
,,Nobody respects me”
,,I have many ideas and I will fulfil them,
no matter if others accept them”
,,Give up because of the salary?”
,,I was very calm”
1989
,,I had an opprtunity to present my ideas”
MY INSIGHT
Paweł is a smart and creative family man.
He exactly knows what he wants. He doesn’t care what
other people say. Sometimes he feels alone.
His coworkers might be jealous of his achievements.
They don’t help and respect him.
PAWEŁ
PROBLEM STATEMENT
PAWEŁ NEEDS A WAY TO FIND FRIENDS AT WORK BECAUSE HE WILL FULFIL MORE IDEAS.
