Objective : To secure a challenging and interesting opportunity to enrich and broaden my experience in the areas of Machine Learning,
Digital Signal Processing and Computer Vision.
Education and Qualifications:
Master Of Science, Electrical and Computer Engg., Georgia Institute of Technology GPA : 3.5/4.0 Dec 2015
Bachelors of Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engg., PESIT, Bangalore Frist Class with Distinction July 2014
Project Experience:
Feb 2015-May 2015 Strategy Game learner using Reinforcement Learning Atlanta
• Created Datasets for sudoku learning algorithm by integrating correct and wrong assumptions for training.
• Using reinforcement learning techniques and bayesian inferences to determine the rules of any given game process dataset.
Jan 2015-May 2015 Face Recognition Atlanta
• Explored ways to implement Facial Recognition by reducing dimensionality and pooling techniques.
• Training using SVMs to give better accuracy.
Jan 2015-May 2015 Pedestrian Detection for Autonomous driving cars Atlanta
• Using images for pedestrian detection in autonomous cars using CNNs
• Performed context analysis for detection of only those pedestrinas who are liable to affect motion of cars.
Jan 2015-Feb 2015 Recommendation Systems Atlanta
§ Worked on movie recommendation systems with a dataset of 80,000 ratings by 1500 users.
§ Used sparse autoencoders for learning features with a softmax classifier and L-BFGS optimisation algorithm.
Sept-Dec 2014 Tone Mapping for HDR using Color Correction Function Atlanta
• The project focussed on implementation of the 2013 paper on a novel way to create HDR images using Color Correction functions.
• Extended the work by combining it with multi logarithmic approach and adaptive weighting to reduce Halos.
Final year undergradate project Biometric Gait Analysis Bangalore
• Pursued the final year undergraduate project in gait analysis using computer vision under Dr. Subhash Kulkarni.
§ Gait tracking uses unsupervised learning, utilizing the CV toolbox from matlab.
§ Focused on Biometric Recognition and suspicious activity classification using Gaits of individuals
Jun-July 2012 Image Resolution Improvement Tumkur
§ Worked on a project on image resolution under assistant professor Mrs. Shilpashree of SIT-Tumkur.
§ Project focused on a model to improve image resolution by taking images of the same scene under different conditions and processing
them together to produce higher resolution images
Work Experience: Atlanta
May 2015 – August 2015 Computer Vision Intern at Jack Cooper Logistics
Worked on Image Deblurring and Image enhancement techniques to produce industrial standard quality images from smartphone
cameras. Involved in research into use and viability of smartphone cameras in vehicle inspection for frame and collision damages.
