 Assisting the Head of maintenance for all mechanical maintenance related tasks.
 Preparing planned (PM) and unplanned (CM) maintenance schedules covering mechanical
equipment, design and outlines maintenance procedures and performing such maintenance
necessary and transfer program of work to the team.
 Provide, deliver & manage Proactive Reliability Maintenance Services through Condition
Monitoring Technologies (Vibration, Lubrication, Emission Testing), setting up databases
and alarms, taking measurements, making analysis and establishing reports and

Key Responsibilities:
 Manage projects which include modifications, upgrades and repair of drilling rig and rig
surveys with respect to engineering, scope of work, schedule, quality, safety,
commissioning, contract administration through all the project phases and in accordance
with Company policies, standards and project objectives for the Company's fleet of offshore
drilling units.
 Commission all the mechanical equipment on the rig for new build, upgrade and modification
 Supervise all teams (Shipyard – onboard) for new build, upgrade and modification.
 providing all kind of technical support for maintenance and operation of all mechanical
equipment and systems deployed on the rig to increase reliability. .
 Carrying out PM, CM, PDM and repair of marine, mechanical and hydraulic equipment (diesel
engines, pumps, compressors, rotating equipment, static equipment and piping equipment.
 Performing all maintenance inspections required including carrying out tests, calculations, and
treatments, verifying mechanical isolation, and lock out or tag out.
 Monitoring different important equipment through periodic visual checks, overseeing referencing
operating logs, intercooler and receiver for abnormal pressures, noises, vibration, and malfunction
of air compressors, air regulators, and valves in air system to advise any repairs, maintenance, or
other necessary action required.
 Knowledge and practical of Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
 Performing overhauls on different equipment used including engines, draw works, mud pumps,
and other equipment to ensure that work progress is not affected to machinery malfunction
 Assisted various departments in overcoming all engineering problems by handling all onsite problems
arising during commissioning, installation, and closing of projects.
 Carrying out all day to day responding to all abnormal operation conditions or usage patterns,
complying with all work permit procedures.
